Nice hotel

Pros: clean , staff very friendly
Cons: breakfast
Close to Amsterdam central but has to wait for ferry to travel to and fro. Taxis costs 30 euro.Rooms are small but very neat and modern. Disappointed with breakfast for the cost

Couples trip

We stayed in the double tree for valentines weekend. We loved the hotel and the staff were all very helpful. Only down fall was that the restaurant in the hotel only opens until 10 and so does room service. No were else in the area to eat unless you get the ferry back to the city centre. The ferry was free and great fun. It would be even better if it didn't finish at 12. Taxi back to the hotel wasn't bad at about €22.

Nice views on the Barbour and wharf area. The hotel is close to the ferry that brings you to the old city center

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass das Hotel nicht im Zentrum ist, jedoch ist der Preis dementsprechend auch günstiger. Das Hotel kann mit der Fähre (Fahrzeit ca. 15 Minuten) vom Amsterdam Centraal erreicht werden. Die Reise mit der Fähre ist gratis.

Cool hotel. Location is a bit odd.

Pros: The staff was friendly, the room clean and the bed comfortable. I also liked the breakfast buffet.
Cons: I have nothing to criticize. For my personal taste, just the location was not really a highlight.
Location: There was a quite alternative outdoor bar close by, I wanted to try. Due to bad weather, I didn't though...
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location wasn't really my thing though. It's easy to take the ferry from Centraal Station to the pier next to the hotel, but next time, I would prefer something more central. The area around the hotel is industrial and definitely not everyone's taste. But if you are looking for something different in Amsterdam, this might be the place for you!
