We had a really nice woman help check us in and she was very professional and friendly. The hotel was very pretty and had cute decorations everywhere. Parking was easy and close, and we could easily walk to restaurants and stores from the location. The room was nice and clean and the AC worked great as it was a very warm night. They had items in the minibar and fridge for purchase which was convenient. We didn’t swim in the pool but you could see the pool area from the entrance and it was really pretty and the pool looked nice. Overall we were very happy with this property and would not only stay there again but would recommend it to others.

Do not stay here!! I have stayed here twice and both times they have charged me for mini bar items and also said i purchased something from the store in lobby. I have never in my life purchased anything from a mini bar, and I definitely didn’t want any crappy T-shirt from the store. It’s totally fraudulent. I’ve had to spend my time calling them and arguing to get my money back. In addition to that, they say that you get your room cleaned every three days, and when I asked the housekeeper about that, she was rude and told me that my room wasn’t on her list so I had to go to the front desk to make sure it was getting cleaned. It’s a cheap place to stay, but you get what you pay for, and it’s not so cheap when they tack on fraudulent extra charges.

Wonderful staff. Updated lobby, patio, pool area. Great location. Free parking around the corner. Enjoyed having a balcony. Only complaint is they could update their flooring and towels. Beds were comfortable.

I’d stay here again and again
We stayed here our last night on island before flying home. As such, we didn’t take advantage of room service, or the pool, but were treated very well and found our room to be comfortable and clean. No complaints, and the lobby coffee was legitimately good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at the Pacific Kona Resort. The room was spacious and comfortable. The complementary bicycles, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas were very appreciated. The location was excellent both for access to the beach and many restaurants. We highly recommend this hotel!!

Great location at the beginning of Ali’i drive which is great since parking there is expensive and hard to get! I was able to walk to beaches and restaurants easily. Loved the free laundry (bring soap), daily yoga and free chairs, umbrellas and bicycles! Wished there was a microwave in the room so we could reheat leftovers. The room can’t ever get totally dark because of the sheer curtains in front of the air conditioner and window below it. The fridge kept getting warm and the smoke detector started chirping in the middle of the night. Parking spots are tiny, get the smallest car possible in Hawaii since that’s common. But the staff are super friendly and the location is fantastic.
