I was treating my sister to an 80th birthday celebration - she lived and taught school in Granville after her graduation from OU. I had booked a "suite" for the 3 of us and made dinner reservations. The room was NOT the room that I requested and paid for in advance. They did change our room, but I didn't have time to look to see if it was the one that I was expecting. Dinner was very good and we chose the quick breakfast buffet the next morning. My sister and her friend want to return to Granville - they enjoyed seeing it again.

Beautiful property

The Granville Inn is beautiful! The pictures of the rooms online do not do it justice. I was a little worried our room would be old-fashioned, but it was not. It was up-to-date and beautiful. We asked for a mini fridge in our room and they brought one up before we checked in. The property was beautiful and then walking distance to town. The town is super cute! The grounds are beautiful and well manicured. The food at the restaurant was good and they served the best espresso martini I have ever had at the bar. The one negative thing I will say is, we were there for a wedding and the wedding coordinator was rude! He was rude to the bride as well as a couple of guests. Overall, our stay was amazing. I would definitely recommend the Granville Inn to other people!
