Our room was great! very comfortable, clean and boy, oh boy, that decor!! Dark blue alligator skin wallpaper in the hallway, lighting fixtures that were imported from the '70s! All in excellent condition, and very clean. Staff was friendly as well. We would definitely stay again.

The property is a bit long in the tooth but clean, convenient, easy parking, and safe. What qualities 5 star is the excellent staff. They will make you stay like home I was there for work total of 58 days. Left feeling like I have a family in Hubbard OH! Will definitely stay there again!

There was not an elevator, which is much needed for those with disabilities & just for not having to lug luggage up 2 flights. There is not a microwave or fridge. It is a very simple, no frills room.

Good for an overnight

Room was pretty spacious and more modern but no refrigerator, microwave or breakfast buffet. The hotel was a bit hard to find as it is tucked behind a larger building.

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness, or lack thereof, of my room. We had a pill left on the cups near the ice bucket and the bathtub looked so dirty, we didn't even bathe while we were there because it was so disgusting. In addition, every time we flushed the toilet, there was a loud noise that came from the bathroom pipes. It was a very disappointing reservation.

Try somewhere else!

We stayed here mainly because we saw the 8+ rating on your site. Wishing we would have spent the extra money at a Holiday Inn Express! Very old & dated property. Carpets in hallways & stairs worn & filthy. Coffee maker had to be plugged in the bathroom as plug wouldn’t reach anything nearby. Shower was slippery & no bars anywhere. However the restaurant next door ‘The Globe’ was very good & served us late.

Excellent but tub safety hazard

I would give this a five star review except that the bathtub is a death trap. SOOOOOO slippery. And this was in a handicap-accessible room where guests might not have the physical coordination of ice skaters! I'm not blaming the management. They probably don't know this but posting it here rather than going private more likely ensures that it will be fixed in all rooms. They can address this after they fix it. Seriously, injuries, head injuries, worse....very serious possibilities. I want this review to be fair....otherwise, it was excellent for the price!
