A Hidden Gem

We stayed here on a last minute (same-day) booking and we were very pleasantly surprised. The room here is as good or better than any room that I've ever stayed in. On the 3rd floor there are high, vaulted ceilings, classy artwork and decor, and everything was clean and comfortable. On top of that, we received a hand written note to welcome us for our stay (how many hotels do that?). And also, we had a glorious view of Mount Rainier out our window.

A nice hotel to stay if you want to spend the following day at Mount Rainer. It takes around one hour to get to the entrance.

The hotel furnishings are noticeably dated compared to the photos, and the musty smell of the carpet puts a damper on the overall experience. Room service was nonexistent. On a positive note, the availability of coffee in the lobby throughout the day was a thoughtful touch.

Family road trip to Mt Rainier.

The property was perfect when visiting Mt Rainier. It was only 1:30 from the park. The hotel was clean and friendly.

We stayed here for an overnight trip to attend a wedding in Roy. Very easy check in, front staff welcoming and accommodating. Very spacious room, everything was clean and no surprises - it was the room we expected from our booking. The was a lovely hand written note on the bed welcoming us! Nice amenities in the room, and in the morning went to the lobby for free coffee. The property overall was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Easy checkout in the morning too. Great breakfast spot across the street at Mr Dougs Restaurant. Definitely recommend if you need to stay in Roy/Yelm.

Rooms were spacious and had vaulted ceilings making it feel larger. Beds were comfortable but could use more pillows. Staff was friendly. Lobby does smell a bit like smoke but our room was fine. Only complaint about the room was showers were very loud and sound of noise would wake someone if waking a different times. The community was clean and family friendly with good parks and great coffee shops. I would use this facility again.

Amazing Staff, Comfortable Rooms, Dining Nearby

This was one of my favorite properties we stayed at during our two week trip. Tarna at the front desk is a gem! She was so friendly, helpful and personable. The layout of the property is very cool with a lot to offer. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this is the first time I have received a handwritten welcome note! So sweet! Pros-beds are super soft and rooms are very clean, they have a binder that tells about the area and all the things the hotel and town have to offer, movie theater and dining on property, food options close by too Cons--there is a deposit which was not shown on their Hotels.com listing but it dropped off quickly, food options seemed to close early nearby which is typical for a smaller town but not always great when you are traveling.

Very nice spacious room, very clean. Only issue unable to shower due to shower knob was broken, reported to the front desk they said sorry unable to fix as they didn’t have a maintenance person available that day, on a Wed? Other than no shower the room was great.
