Perched on a gentle slope just above the bay, the Ocean Cove Inn offers a selection of charming rooms near the infinite blue waves of the beautiful Pacific Ocean. The Perpetua room is located in the upper building, which sits on the southwest slope of a small hill facing the Pacific Ocean. Sliding French doors open onto a common deck with individual seating areas so you can relax and enjoy the view. This room is accessible by exterior stairs or a ramp.

Cheerfully decorated in a palette of deep reds, browns and blacks with touches of gold and cream, the interior features a queen-sized bed and vintage furnishings. Comfortably designed to accommodate two guests, this unit also features wireless Internet, cable, a mini-refrigerator and microwave. Dogs are also allowed for an additional nightly fee.

Perfect for a romantic getaway or spontaneous weekend retreat, the Ocean Cove Inn is a gorgeous setting for the leisurely vacation you've been longing for!

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). It was cozy and had a great view of the ocean cove! What I didn't like was no instructions for operating the heat and when I called no one called me back until the day before I was leaving. I did figure out the heat but it took 2 hours of being freezing cold.

Great location, poor management

The location and view were perfect. The room, however, had many small problems. 1. The TV remote had been stolen, so no TV the first night. After many tries we got a manager 20 miles away to bring a new remote the next day. 2. There was no bathmat for the shower and tub. 3. The heater in the bath was broken. 4. There were two broken supports and a broken handrail on the deck. 5. No saucers among the dishware, though there were utensils, glasses, and cups. By coincidence we met the person cleaning up the units, and he found us a bathmat. He suggested we buy some saucers at a local store. In sum, this space has potential to be an outstanding vacation stay, but poor management made it very trying.

Great view. Quiet. Convenient location. Very good bed. Check-in instructions were incomplete about how to get into the lock box. Had to call. Box jammed at end of stay and we couldn't get it back on. Still a great place.

Good view. Need to replace door blind urgently.

Good, inexpensive property that was clean. My only gripe is that the owners and/or property managers still have that horrible paper blind that is too short and very difficult to fold back up. For less that 100 at Lowes, they would install a new mini blind and get better reviews.

Avoid Vacasa rentals!

Hope we never again have to deal with Vacasa - this is our 2nd bad experience with them, in a row. There was a funky paper covering over the glass front door that (we were told) has been there for months, in place of properly functioning blinds like over the other front windows. The linings in the dresser drawers were dirty. Only 3 lamps were available in the main living area; one didn't even work till we switched plugs. The improperly maintained smoke detector woke us up 2 mornings in a row at 5 am with loud chirps. We called the Vacasa number and some lady in Florida told us she'd relay the info to someone who could help - but we never heard back and we only got a handyman to come by after cornering one of the ladies cleaning a neighboring unit; she contacted him for us. Vacasa is apparently unwilling to provide the kind of place their glowing ads lead you to believe you're getting; once they get our money, that's it..

Beautiful views and right in the centre of things

We loved the location and the view. The outdoor patio area was also lovely. Yachats is great and the property made it easy to walk anywhere for food, drink, essentials and the ocean

OK, but place needs attention

The ocean view was beautiful, as advertised. The property was easy walking distance to several good restaurants and coffee places. The room, however, was a bit dusty and several pieces of the furniture we’re falling apart. I had 2 pound the suitcase holder back together to get it to stand up. One of the curtains On the front door was a piece of paper accordion folded and held up with a couple of clips. The room was very inexpensive, so I guess I shouldn’t expect much. The most inconvenient part was that the bed was very uncomfortable. Next time I’ll shell out a little bit more money for a better place in Yachets.

Hidden Budget Gem

This is a studio room for two that is a level uphill from the Hwy 101 noise with a view from every corner across Yachats River Beach—maybe some phone wires in the way, but for this price, who cares?

We only had two issues and they did not interfere with our enjoyment of the property. The toilet had to be flushed by pulling the chain in the water closet and we couldn’t get the lockbox to close.

It's the little things

There's a lot to like about this place. The location and views are fantastic, the room seemed very clean and was comfortable. Unfortunately our door had broken pieces, as did the window. Doesn't make you feel very secure when there are signs of damage from what was probably an attempted break in.

Nice room with a view

The location and view from sun deck was great. It was a clean place with a comfortable bed. The sun deck outside the front door was a nice place to sit and have some wine while watching the waves roll into the bay after driving along the coast all day. Watched a nice sunset from the road along the bay (5 minutes from room). Several restaurants and market are close by (easy walking distance). Would have been great to have a grill or BBQ available to cook fresh Tuna we got in Newport that afternoon (took some to a restaurant and they grilled it for us).

Good place to stay with a warm home feel. Kind of nice to drop in stay and leave no fuss. Yachats is a definite come back to. Wish it had a kitchenette....

Not the best experience.

The first two days were nice. there were 2 ladies staying on one side and 2 men on the other. They were friendly and quiet. The rest of the stay was terrible. Where the two ladies stayed a couple with a baby came. They walked very loud, like their feet were made of lead. And he talked very loud and was on his phone inside and out pretty much all the day when they were not out. The other side had big dogs the rest of the week. Barking all the time. They left them when they went out. The rules stated that pets could not be left unattended. As we walked our dog to potty, they almost took out the door and the screen at one point when the door was open. They stayed 2 nights. then the next had 3 dogs. One German Shepherd that never stopped barking and two smaller that barked all the time too. The first night water splashed out of the shower and I wiped up the floor with a towel. It was filthy. So I mopped the bathroom floor. When I called to see what kind of a coffee maker was in the room, the lady I talked to said it was a kitchenette with a Keurig . What we had is not a kitchenette. Just a hotel... with no daily room maintenance. The View and location was nice and the deck was nice. Although the tables needed to be washed off. The trash was all overflowing and and no place to put our refuse. toward the end of our stay a few people came and cleaned up a lot of the mess. I talked to a girl cleaning and the manager. I think you need a live in person to monitor what is going on at your facility... Obviously people know they can leave their pets in the rooms and go out partying. .. Think I will find other arrangements the next visit there.
