Very disappointed

The room was big but it needs a lot of work. There were rooms with no window screens. Linens need replacing. Fireplace was non-functional. Lamp between beds had a broken switch, so we couldn't use it. No dresser so we could unpack for our 3-night stay. There was no a/c and even with the window open, it still got stuffy. A box fan was provided, but no place convenient to plug it in. The flies in our room were horrible. They did have plenty of hot water and good water pressure. It is nice that it is right on the ocean with a walking path. Access to the beaches at low tide is doable, but not easy.

We had requested a room with a full ocean view but received a partial view instead, despite paying a higher rate. This was quite disappointing, as we were eagerly anticipating the ocean view. If the hotel doesn’t have enough rooms with a full ocean view, it should be advertised accurately to avoid misleading customers. We chose this hotel for its higher ratings, even though other options were available. The room itself was decent, but the couches and carpets could use a thorough cleaning. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Room wasn’t ready when we checked in around 7:30pm which was slightly annoying, but we left for ice cream and they called and said our room was ready maybe 20-30 mins later. Nice and clean rooms and perfect location in Yachats!

Very dated rooms. No extra blanket…when we got to desk to ask for one we were told to turn the fireplace on, but, we had no fireplace. They called room a “hill view” room but it looked out over the parking lot.

Room had hairs in the bed. WiFi barely worked. Bed was super uncomfortable, mold in the bathroom. Great location though, staff was super friendly and nice but what we paid for the room and the condition it was in not worth it.

Great location & World class.

Had a wonderful three night getaway stay. Beautiful world class view. Private balcony. Pet- friendly. Desk & maintenance staff awesome. On-site restaurant. A little pricey but worth it. We are already planning to return in November! Surprised to find a Keurig in our room! A little dated opened in 1952 but a recent renovation brought it all together for us. Great view! Nice new lobby and front desk. Pretty average room needing significant upgrading. No internet service. Poor ventilation. Nice staff ready to serve. They are carrying this property. Hope they are well paid.

The resort restaurant was such a pleasant surprise. We were not expecting such a gourmet experience, but the food was outstanding! The rooms were OK. The property is really cool and dog friendly.

Granddaughter declared this her new favorite place! The restaurant was great. Good food, good service and a great view. One thing I noticed was they are in the process of refreshing the furniture. Looking good! The 1 bdrm suite was missing bedside lamps but sconces are coming.

The people were great. The amenities were awesome and so was our room with a perfect view. The restaurant was pricey but the morning bartender made a blackberry lemon drop drink that was one of the most delicious drinks I have ever had. Great place to get a little work done, if needed, while on your vacation. Great walking area. Fabulous view that I'd stay here again for that alone.

We are on 1/ third floor balcony road overlooking the ocean, which made this property extremely nice. The staff was very friendly, the room was so spacious and clean and the bed was nice and comfortable. The hotel is an older one and being on the ocean maintenance is a constant, but there were some areas I think that they could have done a little bit more but overall this was a nice place to stay. We chose to eat dinner in the hotel and dinner was very good and reasonably priced.

Room was just a little outdated regarding furniture. Couches were a bit uncomfortable and kitchen tables finish was peeling off leaving it sticky even after cleaned. We had sugar ants in the kitchen so had to make sure not to leave any food out. We did let the front desk know upon checkout. Overall wasn't a bad stay but just a bit of an outdated room.
