Beautiful & spacious town home unit, located at the base of the mountain. Easy access to the slopes and village. have plenty of space for big families and large groups. Spacious and comfortable, our home is the perfect combination of luxury and convenience. Located right at the base of the mountain you are just a short hike to the ski area and only about a 1/4 mile walk to the Village where you can find shopping, restaurants, ice skating, night life, and other super fun activities.
Our home has it all: 4 spacious bedrooms (2 master bedrooms with California king beds, one queen bed bedroom, one bunk bed bedroom (twin over twin with a trundle and a sofa bed) , 4 1/2 bath (being 3 full bathrooms and one half bathroom), 2 living room areas, a gourmet kitchen with high end appliances (professional 6-burner Wolff stove, large Sub-zero refrigerator), plenty of counter space and a large island with seats for 3 people in an open floor-plan. The kitchen's two-way fireplace overlooks the back porch with a large grill and private hot tub.
The other fire place in the living room is the perfect place to relax after a great day outdoors.
Our dinning table sits 10 people comfortably and there is a game table on the side of the kitchen area with 4 extra seats plus the 3 tall bar stools at the kitchen counter. We have hosted dinners for 17 seated guests.
Small children - We have 2 pack & plays if you need crib type beds for your baby/toddler - located in the guest room closet upstairs.
Other things - every room is equipped with extra pillows, blankets and humidifiers. Every bathroom is equipped with hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap and extra tooth brush/paste.
High efficiency washer and dryer equipped with clothe detergent, softener and dryer sheets for you to use.
The lower level room has a spacious living area with a sofa bed. It makes a great space for kids or in-laws and super fun for games.
Sleeping arrangements: 3 bedrooms upper floor and 1 bedroom bottom floor.
Bedroom 1: King bed suite on the top level;
Bedroom 2: king bed suite on the top level;
Bedroom 3: queen bed on the top level (the bathroom that serves this bedroom is on the hallway of top level);
Bedroom 4: twin over twin bunk bed with trundle twin bed plus queen bed sleeper sofa on the downstairs bottom level living area.
Sleeps up to 11 guests comfortably.
All bedroom closets are equipped with plenty extra high quality blankets and pillows. All bathrooms are equipped with bathroom supplies plus hair dryer and plenty extra high quality towels.
Kitchen is equipped with seasoning of all kinds, detergent, trash bags, dish soaps, tissues, etc.
We take cleaning very seriously - the property is cleaned and disinfected before guests check in with products proven to eliminate viruses & bacterias.
The properties at Base Camp are modified ski in/ski out. There is ski access via a well maintained short path (and some stairs) at the end of the cul-de-sac (out and behind our complex) which winds through the woods and connects you to the “Corridor” that will take you to the gondola and connect you through the slopes. To ski back in, from the top of Winter Park Mountain get onto Mary Jane trail to connect to corridor. Under the bridge, it will be the first exit/stop. If you prefer, there is also a shuttle stop close by available for a quick ride to the base area.

There is a free Resort shuttle called THE LIFT (Green Line and Old Town Line) runs approximately every 15-20 minutes during the ski day and evening. The pick up spot is just a short walk away, to the right of our complex in front of Ski-Broker rentals.
Parking: 1 vehicle can be parked in the covered garage and one additional vehicle can be parked in the driveway.
All other vehicles must be parked offsite. Free parking along Winter Park Drive right out of Iron Horse and at the parking lot off of Hwy 40 as you enter the resort.

OVERALL INFORMATION:
Our unit is right on the resort. You are just a short hike to the ski area. We are also only about a 1/4 mile walk to the Village where you can find shopping, restaurants, bars, ice skating, ice bumper-cars, summer activities, night life and other activities. The resort offers a variety of free activities during the ski and summer seasons including broom ball, live music, yoga, movies, s'mores, and more.
In the town of Winter Park, about 4 miles or less than 10 minutes away, you will find many more restaurants, bars, and shops as well as a rec center, movie theater, bowling alley, park with free sledding, grocery store, gas stations, and hiking and biking trails. There is even a scenic biking trail that you can take into town.
CABRIOLET LIFT / TUBBING HILL
There is a free cabriolet lift that makes for an enjoyable ride and beautiful views. It will connect you from the village to the gondola. You can also take it to the Coca-Cola tubing hill.
FRASER
Just another 2 miles past Winter Park is the town of Fraser with a larger grocery store, beautiful parks, a tubing hill, a rodeo during the summer, a public library, the train station, and some more shops and great restaurants. There are some beautiful mountain golf courses (Pole Creek Golf Course and Grand Elk are our favorites) just 20 minutes away as well as Snow Mountain Ranch with an indoor swimming pool, roller skating, ping pong and pool and table hockey, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, outdoor miniature golf, craft activities, ice skating, tubing, and much more.
