The lady at the desk needs to enunciate. Even though she says her spiel several times a day this was my first time hearing it and I couldn't understand what she said.

Everything was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. The only thing I felt could be improved was the breakfast. That wasn't very good.

Rooms, restrooms and breakfast area were all stocked and very clean. I felt comfortable and safe in my room. The staff was attentive and friendly. I would return and recommend this property to others.

Older building. Loosely applied carpet likely not the cleanest but frequent cleaning and upkeep was maintained throughout the stay. Air-condition worked well. Bathrooms were good; room overall with upgrades.

$10 parking & a rogue housekeeper

Me and my daughter went to Winston-Salem because she was going to see University of North Carolina School of Art. I picked this hotel and everything was going good until the 1st full day of our stay (1/27). I had dropped my daughter off and went walking around Old Salem. When I got back I was resting from all the walking and was napping & I woke up to knocking, but I didn’t think it was on my door but then someone came into my room but I had the door latched. So they closed the door but I ran to open it and see who it was. It was a housekeeper & she asked if i needed anything, this really irritated me because I didn’t put the sign on the door saying I needed something. So that really didn’t give me good vibes. Also, it says parking available but they don’t tell you they charge you $10 a day to use the parking garage assigned to this hotel. Which is crazy considering there is no where else to park except for the parking garage. Overall, it worked the 2 nights I was there but I’ll find somewhere else to stay if we go back to Winston-Salem.
