Sit on the porch and watch for birds, cattle, and other wildlife - herds of deer are known to pass through the property! Guests of all ages will enjoy the large pool in the backyard which offers plenty of places to lay out in the warm Texas sun. Honest Review
Home is outdated, Vacasa the management the company that manages the property couldn’t answer questions about why there were multiple doors locked inside the home. Found raw bacon stuck on the kitchen counter, killed about 5 scorpions INSIDE the home. Overgrown grass and weeds which attracts more insects to the pool and property. We usually carry a UV light to check the sheets for fluids and the conforters from the master and one guest bedroom were super dirty and stained which obviously means they don’t wash them. Trash Bins were completely full. Out dated gaming system as they only have an XBox 360, super old DVDS, Grill was EXTREMLY dirty, assuming from previous guest but should be cleaned. Lighting at night for outside the home was minimal. Lights are old and half of the lights for the outside didn’t work or turned on. Pictures make it seems like a nice home but it’s just extremely outdated in every aspect.

Not Worth the Money
Pictures on vrbo are not what is reality at the rental. Furniture worn and dirty, several mattresses are broke and you sleep in a deep hole. Poorly stocked kitchen, no sharp knives and not much for bakeware. Big insect problem in home. Killed 6 scorpions inside and another 6 in the garage. Garage filled With trash and junk . Backyard pool was nice and clean, but yard is small and overgrown with foliage. Kid

Not ideal
The pricing was misleading, while the nightly rate was around $225 per night, with fees and other costs, we paid $1,000 for 2 nights or 42 hours. The location is great, close to a lot of stuff in central Texas, house is quiet, and in a remote neighborhood with a decent salt water pool. The house has large bedrooms and was nice and clean, the carpeted areas needs new carpet, there are a lot of stains and old, shaggy carpet. The wifi barely worked and with several family members, we couldn't watch the Olympics very consistently. The air conditioner didn't work very well in 1/2 of the house, when we called the on-call guy he couldn't come or get anyone out to the house until after we left. The some of the bedrooms were cold, while the living areas and other bedrooms were hot and uncomfortable. The master bathtub needs to be replaced. The water pressure in the house is poor and several rooms in the house get lukewarm (at best) showers/baths.

Great place for a girls weekend!
We had a wonderful weekend reconnecting with friends we haven’t seen in over 30 years. The home was the perfect size accounting our group of 10. The kitchen was large, nice to have a large island for all of our grazing and standing around visiting. Home was clean, beds were comfortable. I think our favorite space was the backyard patio. Perfect for evening and morning visits or quiet time. I would definitely come back!

Weekend Summer gathering
The pool was the best part. The house and property could use maintenance (overgrown lawn, peeling paint and branches need trimming) and cleaning was subpar. Found dirty towels in hamper, stained bedding and at least four scorpions, wasp and other nuisance bugs throughout. We enjoyed the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and storage. Cautiously fun weekend.

one thing needs fixing
The owner should be aware that the bbq pit needs some repair or needs to be replaced. The burners are rusted very badly making the use of the bbq pit pretty impossible. Lastly, not sure who controls the check-in and check-out times. RIDICULOUS that we can't arrive until 4:00 p.m. and even more RIDICULOUS that we have to leave by 10:00 a.m. Using the excuse that the house needs cleaned is absurb. This house could be cleaned in no more than 2 hours. This is price gouging at the highest level.

Great Getaway!
My husband and i brought our two large dogs for a short getaway. Con (only 1): the only complaint we had is there was no directv or option to stream our nhl team that was in the playoffs! The tv in the living room is older and won’t screen share with devices newer than 2020. The tv on the patio had the option, but the tv is smaller. The tv in the kids room wasn’t smart either. Pros: Cleanliness - for a dog friendly home it was great! The showers and toilets were clean (though a little dated) and the washer/dryer were clean as well. Home size: it was a lot for us but there was so much room to stretch out and enjoy the country. Secluded: if you want secluded this is it. It’s close enough to town but far enough out you feel as if you’re the only ones around. Cows!!: they roamed the property and would pop up every now and again. One day they posted up by the garage all day and were so docile. Location: just a few minutes to wimberley and a short drive to San Marcus or Austin. Amenities: while it was still a bit chilly in the pool, we did get in once. It was clean and refreshing, and there were great chairs to lounge in. The covered patio was excellent for an afternoon out of the sun and grilling. There were plenty of linens, kitchen utensils, and the laundry was full size. There is even a large garage if you’d like to park indoors. The master was comfortable but we can’t speak to any other beds as we didn’t use them. We would book again!!

Interesting
The property was beautiful. House was large and very roomy. My issue was that only 1/2 of the house had hot water. So this was difficult when you had 6 grown people sharing 1 shower. Yes, I was told that it would be fixed before our arrival. but we had to call again for someone to come look into it. No one ever showed up or returned my call. Also, at 1.30 am on Saturday music started playing in the main bedroom we could not find the source and had to call customer service to get this solved. All of the surround sound equipment was locked in a closet so I had to call in again to get the code to unlock the door as the music got louder. left everyone uncomfortable that night.

This house looks just like its pictures. It’s the second year we stayed here for our annual reunion with our college friends. We have our reunion at a different house in the neighborhood so we mostly just sleep at the house. Our only complaint is that both of the king mattresses are rather lumpy. Overall this house is great for families :)

Girls weekend
A getaway weekend to catch-up with girlfriends 50+. The house is nice and big. We enjoyed the big patio & pool especially with the mid 90 Texas temperatures. One thing that can be improved is the bed size in the 2 full bed rooms. The beds seem smaller than true full and only comfortably sleep 2 smaller adults. Recommend upgrading to queen beds. Another is to advise keeping bedroom doors open at night to help with AC flow. It got hot with the doors closed.

Perfect House for a group
We had 7 people (4 adults, 3 teens) and had a lot of space in a comfortable home. The pool provided hours of entertainment, too. The management takes good care of you (plenty of amenities/toiletries, towels, etc...). Roaming cows throughout the neighborhood were the bonus we didn't know we were getting! Definitely recommend this house.

Great home, location and property! Everything was just about perfect. Pots and pans could be updated but I had read that in another post so brought some from home. Check out is also 10:00 a.m. I feel 11:00 would be good. The property management was slow to respond to questions. Other than that it was perfect. Yes I would stay here again.

House needs some TLC-VACASA is a joke
The house needs updating, The carpets in the bedrooms are isfilthy, the cookware needs to be replaced and the TV just needs to be simplified. On our first night we were able to use the direct tv once we switched to Netflix we were unable to return to tv. The pipes froze due to the weather so the hot water heater leaked once the water retuned.VACASA is a waste of time they said they would assist us and never called us back about the issues. For a fee we were offered late check out only to have the cleaning crew show up 2 hours before the late chec out so I guess they do not communiate with their team members.

Perfect Stay for Family Gatherings
When I first stumbled onto this property for rental it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch…additionally, a few of the reviews for this property were significant enough that they would have changed my mind to pass this one up, but I weighed my options and decided to invest in this rental because of the ability to accommodate more than 10 guests. It didn’t disappoint…everything was as perfect as it seemed online! My husband and I consider ourselves frequent travelers and have stayed at several rentals these past 3 years and would rate this property as one of the nicest, best located, and of real valued investment of all the places we have stayed. The home was clean, had everything we needed to feel at home for a 4-night stay. The management company kept in communication via email and cell phone messages (app) with us from the first day that we reserved the property, to the week of the stay, the day of check in, and upon check out. Their continued need to be accommodating in the event we were not satisfied with our stay was greatly appreciated. We will be staying again! Highly Recommended!

Perfect for family gatherings.
We gathered as family to celebrate an 80 th birthday. The house is spacious and in a private setting. The pool was clean! The kitchen needs to have some cleaning and update on utensils and dishes. We have stayed in many VRBOs. The entry sets the tone. Mailbox was open and piles and piles of mail sticking out. Street number sign was broken and had fallen over. Animal poop was on the entry way into the house. Garage door opener is broken. The property overall just feels neglected. It could be a top notch venue.

Over Priced
My biggest gripe is the misrepresentation of beds. VRBO shows 2 king, 3 doubles 1 twin. Vacasa says 2 king, 4 doubles, and 1 twin. Neither stated the twin was over 1 double and the extra double on Vacasa was a pull out trundle under the double on the bottom of the bunk bed. Our 86 and 84 year-old mothers had no place to sleep. Beware of the cost in fees to rent a Vacasa property through VRBO. Total cost for 3 nights was $1980 and total cost of fees was &1500+. Place needed basic maintenance and pots and pans were dirty and in bad shape. One person described as deer camp quality. I agree. There were no kitchen towels, dish cloths, or hot pads. 1 new sponge was provided and 2 rolls pf paper towels. Glad I always travel with paper towels. Pool was great. Patio needed a good pressure washing and comfortable cushions to sit on plastic patio furniture. Probably won’t be back. I will look carefully at future rentals to be sure Vacasa is not involved.
