The property was dirty the kitchen was worse and the rooms were even too dirty to describe. Housekeeping didn’t do the beds or change sheets. It was a horrible experience and I’ll never recommend that hotel.

The hotel property seems to be going through a renovation. Doorways are covered in plastic and parts of the stairwell is taped off. Property feels old. Although new flooring GB in the guest rooms, the bathrooms are small and look dingy.

We were very disappointed with our stay. The website indicated service every day for room cleaning and we went out our first day and no one cleaned our room. They mentioned something about eco friendly and not enough staffing but that is not a satisfactory answer. We also had ants and had to throw out some of our food we brought with us. Because they didn’t clean our room we had to call for more towels and toilet paper. Also my daughter had to defrost the refrigerator that was in our room and that should not have happened. I also had gone to breakfast and the choices they offered we limited. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, cereal ( all of what I can’t eat). So basically I could only eat fried potatoes which was not prepared well at all. The milk offered was in an open gallon jug and who would drink something already opened. They should be separate containers. The refrigerator was not clean as well.

It was OK

Although when I booked the hotel, it listed a pool as an amenity. However, upon arrival the pool was closed for maintenance issues. The hotel was also undergoing renovations at the time and had an overpowering chemical smell of some sort on the first floor. The elevator to our room was also being used to transport construction materials and often had packaging material left in the elevator or right outside of it. Other than that, the free breakfast was nice and the staff was always polite.

Should have mentioned that is under construction. No access to the pool. Some floors closed off. Weird smell in the elevator.

When I arrived the sheriffs department had vehicles all over the parking lot , there were renovations being done so no pool and was a construction site to say the least

Don’t stay here.

We left and got another hotel. The pool was out of commission and filled with muddy water, there were cobwebs in the windows, the phone didn’t work. Would not give a refund and the manager was an ass. Also place smelled like they dumped a gallon of stinky cologne in it.

Here are some notes I took while at my one night stay. We had to switch rooms because mold was a major concern. - [ ] Mold in bathroom - Host acted as if he didn’t see it - [ ] Had to switch to another room - [ ] Elevator wasn’t lit, when we got off there was a loud clank like a pop - [ ] Dirty vents - [ ] Dirty floors - [ ] Lint ball sheets - [ ] Rubber eggs - [ ] Unseasoned “home fries” looked half way cooked - [ ] Rubber pancakes - [ ] Stale cereal - [ ] Woke up sneezing and another was coughing through the night - [ ] The room key stopped working and we had to walk back down to get it fixed - [ ] There is a horrible mold and paint smell while walking to the north elevators - [ ] The phone wasnt plugged in This establishment is not fit for guests and they should remain closed until things are up to code. I want a refund and will reach out to corporate and the VHD on the mold issues.

The staff we interacted with checking in was great, however the staff the morning of check out kept asking if and when we were leaving when we had late check out and it wasn’t even check out time. The elevator and side exit kept getting stuck, both of which safety concerns.

I understand renovations take place. I wish I had known this. I selected this hotel for its “indoor pool”. Which it doesn’t have, it has an outdoor pool which was closed for major repair. Apparently it’s been down a while. The room wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great. The twin beds weren’t that bad. It was a good price. Just wish the pool was open and indoors. Since BG closed 4 hrs early for weather would’ve been nice to have something else to do.

I don't like to give bad reviews but sometimes it is necessary to help others. The place is under construction and in no shape to be having any guests. I was expecting much since I had a good deal and just wanted to stay for one day to go to amusement park next day. The staff treated me well but place was dirty, including the stinky pillows and very loud ac that was programmed by management to work randomly. The breakfast was not very good but a dirty room and stinky that is very bad.
