Highly recommend
Excellent Hampton Inn property. Clean and properly maintained. Close to Colonial Williamsburg. Enjoyed the daily breakfast. Highly recommend to travelers in the area.

NOT AS GOOD AS IT ONCE WAS
Out room #136 did not smell fresh. We bought Febreze to spray on linens, towels, and around the room. At check in we were not recognized as Honors members. Though the breakfast hosts were so very nice, the breakfast items were lacking. Also, there is no light by the rear door outside. We have stayed here before but will not return to this hotel.

The staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The employees had everything we needed and kept it fully stocked. The only bad thing was the bed was a little uncomfortable.

Mom & daughter weekend stay very good!
My 8yo and I stayed over a holiday weekend recently, and it was a wonderful stay! The beds were pretty comfortable, the room was very clean, it smelled nice, there were noise reducing ceilings so we didnt hear anything except the occasional toilet flush sound, the shower was nice, the breakfast included was very busy and tasty, offering quite a bit of options including belgin waffle bar and freshly made options. It was close to many restaurants and downtown Williamsburg. We appreciated the desk area since she had schoolwork to do. The pool itself was a little chilly, but the room was very warm so it did not stop the kids from swimming!

Fine hotel with slow wifi
Hampton Inns are typically very nice. My only complaint is the wifi is usually very slow. Maybe just my bad luck but if I was traveling for work this would be a problem.

OK But Needs More Staff
Nice staff at check-in; room spacious and clean. Only significant problem was that there was NO Housekeeping! The explanation was "every other day"; we stayed two nights and saw no one.

We were pretty disappointed. The staff couldn't have been nicer but the rooms left much to be desired. Two lamp shapes were broken in our room, the blind was broken and just hanging, dated, cheap furniture. The bathroom had the cheapest shower head. We were traveling so I had a bunch of drinks to put in the fridge from our cooler, I had to clean the fridge out because there was two pieces of hair frozen in it in ice. There is also a pretty shady looking hotel adjacent to the parking lot. We let my son swim in the indoor pool so my husband and I went to sit at a table- it was pretty dirty with food and crumbs all over it. I pulled out a chair to sit down and there was a dirty pair of socks on the chair. It seemed apparent no one was checking that area to make sure it was clean. I would pass on this one, we won't be staying there again.

Affordable, perfect location. Room was not properly cleaned. When we extended the sleeper sofa we found old popcorn, food wrappers and other trash. The front desk was quick to come clean it. I'd stay again.
