Our room wasn't ready for over 40 minutes. We came from NJ to attend an event with no time to get ready. The cleaning staff was not done. Our check in was at 4pm, why wasn't it done? We had a few bags with us and our dog. We used a cart to wheel our bags but there's steps everywhere. We had lift our dog carriage to get to the room and then carried our bags the rest of the way. No pool, no gym, and a random dog running the hallway with no owner. The owner was at a wedding there. The room was clean but that really was the only good thing. You would think to maybe comp the $15 breakfast or get a room that was available but nothing. Just an "I'm sorry". I will not be returning.

Although our stay was short, we did run into some issues. They were working on the pipes and we had orange water and only one of my children got a HOT bath. The parking could be improved as its a small lot and a larger resort. We had a creekside room which was beautiful however our balcony was slanted and we didnt feel safe standing outside for very long. Shoguns was amazing, but a free breakfast would have been icing on the cake.

The room was very dark. Needs brighter lights or more lamps. The sofa was frayed and visibly worn. Balcony had broken chairs and you could not sit on the balcony. Requested room service the second night for all nights. this never happened. I felt like I was being eaten alive in the room. This was a highend hotel in the day.

The property is nice with adequate parking. The rooms are clean. The shelf over the bathroom sink interferes with washing your face as it overhangs too far front. Our room was 148 and that location is not at a quiet location. We stayed two nights, a Friday and a Saturday. Friday night was OK, but Saturday night was terrible due to noise from the adjacent restaurants and party facilities. The music was very load and went on to 2:00 am. There were several wedding receptions and the people attending were very loud until at least 2:00 am. Our son stayed the same night but was in a different location in the hotel and said that he didn't hear the noise. I would stay there again, if the room was not close to the nighttime events.

Mostly Pros, A Few Cons
The lobby was nicely decorated and welcoming. The people at the front desk were friendly, saying hello each time we passed. Room was a typical hotel room; the bed was comfortable and pillows plump. The shower was a walk-in. The only annoyance was having to hold the handle down for awhile for it to completely empty. The hotel had a few restaurants and bars. One restaurant was Japanese, and the other was a brick oven pizza place where we ate twice because we liked it so much. Now, the hotel has an indoor pool, as well as, outdoor, but it’s October, so outdoor was closed. Anyway, the indoor pool and jacuzzi were accessible until 10 p.m. Dilemma - where’s the jacuzzi? We looked all over, and finally asked the person taking care of towels by the pool. He told us that the pool was the jacuzzi. Well, the pool is not heated, so I passed. My husband was brave though; he stayed in for about ten minutes :) Biggest complaint - we could hear clearly every word, conversation, swearing, laughing, etc, coming from the hallway. It was as if the other guests were in our room. We didn’t hear anything through the walls, just what was coming from the hallway. All in all, we liked the hotel, the staff, and the food, and we would return.

Cool looking property, but I felt like I got scammed out of my room. The room given was very small. Breakfast was advertised to be included, it wasn't. Went to get something to eat and food was stale and the gym was closed.

No Wifi
The room was nice, it lead out to a little park. The pizza restaurant connected to it has an outside bar by a creek which just lovely. We ate at the Japanes restaurant which is just "meh". But that's typical for the area (sorry). Their WiFi did not connect to the internet and the reception staff was clueless what to do. So, no Netflix for us but mind numbing TV instead ...

there was unexpected 100 fee, wouldnt take cash. Put me on floor 1 where they had a party till 2 3 am. People kept knocking on my door after I had the Do Not Disturb sign up, someone removed my sign, kept playing knocking on my door all night. Very Very noisey. If they where having a party they should not put quest on the same floor. I felt unsafe all nite because someone kept knocking on my door. Staff very nasty at the front desk, Indian guy did'nt get his name, about the 100 fee. very upset about that unexpected fee that will not be returned to me until 10 business days. Unexceptable NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL NOR WILL I EVER VISIT AGAIN. VERY DISAPPOINTED I EVEN CHECKED OUT EARLY 7AM.. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AND IM IN PA EVERY WEEKEND. IM A LISCENSED REALITOR
