The room was very clean, although it felt sparse. It was an extremely cold night and the weather stripping around the door was not good so there was a cold draft coming through the door. We stuffed what we could around it. The heating unit was fine so the room was warm but that was our only complaint. Manager on duty was very kind and courteous! Others had mentioned a “good breakfast” but it was simply continental so that was a bit disappointing. We went to Governor’s up the road. Overall for an overnight stay it was fine!

Very Clean, but has some issues.
The room was very clean and nice. However, when I went to take a shower at 10pm after being out all day, there were NO BATH TOWELS. There were 2 wash clothes and 2 hand towels. The office was closed, and it was really tooo late to be bothered; the room I was in was located in a separate small building some distance from the office (which I believe was closed anyway). Also, the AC/Heating system is a wall unit located very high. When I walked in the temp was set at 60, and it was in the 20s outside. I had to stand on the only chair, a wobbly desk chair in order to see how to turn up the heat. I almost fell. It might be a good idea to have a step stool for folks who are older and short (I am 5'1"). The regrigerator was off as well, and I couldn't seem to find the dial to turn it on. One more thing; the TV is a Smart TV with no instructions. It was frankly not usable to me.

The room was newly renovated. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. We got in late without an issue. The sidewalks could use some work, I have trouble walking and kept tripping on the uneven walk infront of our room. Could use more towels. One per adult per stay was not enough. We would definitely stay again.

This was my 2nd time at the Elmwood and I will continue to stay here any time I’m working in Belfast! I didn’t get to check in until midnight and it was no problem at all. The staff are very friendly and personable, the rooms are clean and modern, the location is super convenient, and they’re pet friendly! I work for myself so I take my dog on the road with me, so the fact that I can bring him along when I’m up this way is a HUGE plus!

Bare bones, Very clean newly remodeled, skimpy continental breakfast. Small rooms, however, to get something a little more sophisticated you have to pay thru the nose in this area! Would I stay here again? Probably.
