The resort has direct access to ANAEHO'OMALU Beach, also known as "A Bay" which is protected from high surf by an offshore reef. It is great for swimming, snorkeling, walks along the beach and a stroll to Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant. Boat excursions start at A-Bay and equipment rentals are available from vendors on the beach. A-Bay also has restrooms, outdoor showers, drinking water and a cat sanctuary located at the entrance to the beach making this beach a gem on the Kohala Coast. We provide beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, etc. and beach umbrellas may be checked out at the Kolea Beach Club.
