The entire stay at this property was the highlight of our trip. Our room, and the grounds were beautiful and as an additional bonus you get access to the Hilton pool down the street. 100% will be staying here again.

The suite we were in was spacious and beautiful. It was fairly quiet where we stayed. The pools were nice and they had a section for smaller children. The property is large so we did have to drive to get to the pool. The major downside to the stay, there was a cockroach issue. We found them under the kitchen sink, coming out of the electrical socket, and on the kitchen counter. Informed staff multiple times and was told maintenance would check it out. But even then, there was still roaches. Understandably, roaches aren’t very easy to get rid of. We were not offered another room or an alternative option. It was inconvenient because we could not leave any food on the kitchen counters or even while making food. We had to keep the trash can out from under the sink so the roaches wouldn’t get into it.

This resort had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and convenient. Free shuttle to sister hotel, refreshing free shaved ice event, multiple pools and slides. Staff were friendly and attentive. Hotel room was nice and had a full kitchen along with cooking utensils. Would definitely stay here again!

We were given a suite on the 2nd floor of building 22 which was so newly renovated the TVs weren't finished being set up... yet somehow the shower door hinge was already rusty and stuck. There was a number on the TV to text for assistance, but it was evidently for a different hotel called Kohala who didn't bother to pass on our request. The suites are generously sized, big balcony, kitchen, living, dining, laundry, bed & washroom. Had to cross the street in bathing suits to get to the pool though. Open until 10pm but the towel station closes earlier so go get your towels during daylight hours. Musical performances for a couple hours in the afternoon, too loud, did not need amplification, had to leave the area. I didn't see anyone having the buffet breakfast for $25USD. No one was eating or drinking in the pool area, they have no servers. Everyone clears out of the pool by 4pm, then the whole place is dead. Can't even get a drink or a snack in the evening. No Uber eats either. Plan ahead to buy drinks and food at a grocery store. The shuttle costs $5USD per person each way. It was a very beautiful, boring, and quiet property, except for the many young children stomping and shrieking every morning at dawn (along with the wild goats). We enjoyed the free entry to sister resort Hilton Waikaloa Village.

It is big and quiet, nice good with good views.hotel staff is really helpful and introduced us to some fun activities. However navigating around the property is a pain without a car.

The most family friendly and safe place. We had an incredible 10 nights with our three kids. A pool for everyone. Kind staff, clean. Felt like a paradise home away from home.

This place is cozy and nice without too many children and unhappy families. The geese are a little too comfortable though.
