The room was clean & tidy but not very big for a King Suite, the TV was not able to broadcast all chanels & I was surprised that cable chanels were not available
International Hotel was very clean, with great rooms and bathroom. It is centrally located to shops, pubs, food, and where my friends lived.
It was the perfect place to stay for a trip to Waga Waga.
The facility is very clean, neat, plenty of parking and easy access to the city centre or the other facilities around. Rooms are sound proof with light blockers.
The staff are friendly, but they were understaffed when we arrived and had a few people waiting for a bit.
Upon check-in I found that Jenna was extremely rude and not understanding of situation.
I explained to her that I was going to be arriving late and arranged for a friend that was also staying at hotel to collect my key. I spoke to 4 other people that had nil issues, however Jenna reported that this was not possible.
Jenna then requested that I break the law by sending her a copy of my details and license whilst driving down the freeway. Not really sure if that is appropriate to request.
Upon arriving, I was advised that room was in the late checking box, however when attempting to access same there was an error and the box would not work. Once received the key, I entered room to find that the television was not working, so I called to report same, however no answer to call.
This was disappointing to me as I do travel a lot and don’t have this issue in other places. I thought being a major hotel in a rural area the treatment to consumers would be better.
From check in through to check out, the staff really made me feel like a welcomed and valued guest. Affordable luxury in the heart of Wagga. Beautifully appointed accommodation, comfortable beds and the food from the restaurant was amazing.
