When you decide to venture from the condo, you can sit down for excellent Southern cuisine and seafood downtown or cast a line from the Tybee Beach Pier and Pavilion (three miles south). You'll also be only one mile from the Tybee Island Light Station & Museum, which overlooks Fort Screven.

Caveat Emptor
Location is great. Condo is not clean: dust blowing out of vent across the ceiling; corners, edges of flooring have built up dirt; jelly blob on the wall. Decorated with dirty, broken furniture via the discount section of thrift stores. Other condos in the building were gorgeous but this one was dirty, dingy, and old. I have pictures to back up my words.

Update
Took an hour and half to 2 hours to get gate key due to room was not ready. Room needs to be updated. Bed needs to be lowered. A person should not have to jump up into bed.

I will start with the good, it was only feet from the beach. This vacation home was not clean, the linen was not clean and the unit was very dusty. The floors and remote were sticky. My daughter and I went for a morning walk on the beach, as we were headed back to the room, I noticed something sitting on the stairs. I assumed it was a cat so we kept walking as we got closer, I was so shocked because it was actually a raccoon and he refused to move. I was so over this place that we left early. I tried to reach out to someone at the complex but was unsuccessful.

Great location but horrible beds
Great location with private beach access and nice pool. Clean property located near lighthouse. BUT. Worn out, uncomfortable couch. And the beds were really REALLY terrible. There were two bunk beds located in the hall, not 3 twin beds., that had hard, worn out, thin mattresses on a plywood base. The “queen” bed was not an actual bed. It was a homemade plywood platform with storage underneath and was .full-sized, not queen size. There was not a mattress but only a thin, worn out foam pad directly on the wooden base. The “bed” was positioned so that there was a wall on 3 sides so you had to crawl over each other to get In and out. We lasted only one night. Very unhappy. But very VERY pleased with the response from management when I complained. Offered another property or a refund without any hassle. It could be a nice little condo but the owners need to replace the couch, put new mattresses on the TWO bunk beds (not three twin beds) and put a real bed in the bedroom with a mattress and box springs that doesn’t require you to crawl over your sleeping partner.

THERE WERE NO MATTRESSES IN THIS RENTAL. Our master bedroom “queen bed” was just TWO 3 INCH MEMORY FOAM PADS stacked on each other and covered with bedding to look like a real bed. The other queen bed was a pull out couch mattress - which is as thin as you can imagine. The two bunks were basically cots, no more than 5 inches thick. The cleaning person didn’t arrive until after we checked in, so the rental was a mess when we arrived. The shower had the hot and cold knobs BACKWARDS. The overhead lighting didn’t work in any room. The door code was the length of a whole phone number, and our door key got stuck in the lock every time we used it. There was also a boil water advisory for Tybee island that the property manager neglected to tell us about - we found out about it when we went out to eat later. To say I am disappointed by this is an understatement. We thought we got a sweet deal on a beach front property, and instead we got scammed out of money and decent sleep. I’m pursuing a refund, and I hope Vacasa either improves this property or nixes it entirely.

Great week in Tybee
The location is fantastic! clean beaches, short distance from Savannah, great resturants nearby. Pool and parking were nice and easy to utilize. Room is clean, plenty of space for 4. Slight view of ocean from the balcony but within walking distance to the beach. (Just off to the side of the building is an access) Would recommend to anyone!

Peaceful Property
The property is quiet with beach access and a pool. The condo is spacious enough and convenient. I really enjoyed the balcony. The only drawback was the very stained couch. As the only comfy indoor space to chill, I could only sit on it after covering it up with some towels.

Our only complaint was that the bed was not comfortable and is placed in a corner so that someone has to sleep along the wall. Not fun for a claustrophobic person. The place is a bit out dated, but very clean and the property is well taken care of.

Retro apartment with pool view
We really enjoyed our stay. It was pretty retro but we loved it! Only tip is to bring your own coffee creamer as there wasn't any. But they did have a coffee pot and coffee available for our stay:)

The location is perfect but the unit is in serious need of a remodel. I would expect this type of unit to be rated in the 3.7-3.9 range, but for some reason it is averaging 4.6. It's the first time that the rating has fooled me.

Perfect Location, Could Use Updates
The place itself could use some updates, but the location was perfect. When we checked in we didn’t have a key to get into our place, but the actual racquet club had a person that helped us. Deb was amazing. She helped contact the Vacasa contact who was pleasant to deal with, we were supposed to get some kind of refund which we never did. I’d stay at the Racquet Club again, but probably not the property through Vacasa.

The pictures very misleading. This condo hasn't been updated really since probably the 80's. Lights flickered on off. The outlets would hod our chargers. The fixtures in tub had a hole below drain, paint on the bathtub fixtures. The closets were old. It was just poor. I have already communicated with someone and sent pjctures.

Outside condition was fine. Access to beach front was very good. Pool, tennis and parking were fine and in a gated area. The condo was a bit old and tired. Even a coat of paint would have brightened it up. I will say that after arrival the customer service was excellent. There were a few issues with the condo when we first arrived. The customer service manager for my unit stepped right up and made things right. I was very impressed with that.

Good Location but Unclean
Cute property with great water access; however, we found items from the prior guests, including mushed candy on the floor. I don't mind a little sand, or even one accidental missed corner, but the carpets and couch contained dirt, hair and other stains that made the stay unpleasant. I still haven't received a response from the property manager. We definitely left the place cleaner than we found it.
