Enjoyed our 4 night stay.
We were a bit concerned with the reviews of the hotel on another website but we’re pleasantly suprised. The hotel is a bit tired and needs a bit of TLC but the rooms were large and airy, great aircon and we got a free upgrade to a loft which would have slept a family of 6 Breakfast was very good but finished at 8.30 am! Area is good for site seeing as well

Property needs to update their marketing ASAP. This place is the furthest thing from a suite. I had this room reserved for over nine months for a family weekend because it was supposed to be a “suite” big enough for our family. The room was spacious, but disgusting! If it hadn’t been after 9pm on a Friday night when we arrived, I would’ve left immediately. There was dust everywhere. A used Band Aid in the drain of the tub/shower. Loose hairs in the sink. Stained-worn out sofa. A crack in the dinette table. Stains and jelly like stuff in freezer and the best for last…. A wet towel hanging on the rack. I’ll stop there.

Sonesta ES Suites a 3 Star Hotel….not a 3 star hotel. We stayed at Sonesta ES Suites room 624 in Tucson Arizona from Oct 21 – Oct 25. When you open the door the first thing you see is a filthy carpet, I don’t think it’s been vacuumed in quite some time, walking with socks on is proof of that, they end up being black on the bottom. The ceiling fans had a ½ inch of dust on them and only one worked but was seriously out of balance and was making so much noise you had to turn it off. The stove which we didn’t use but noticed that it was covered in grease. There was mold in the caulking around one of the bathroom showers. The housekeeping crew only comes to replace towels/linen if you schedule it, and it looks like they need to be retrained on how to properly clean a room. The room that we had has a fire/smoke alarm controller for all the other units in the building, this controller makes rhythmic clicking noises that are loud enough to keep you awake at night and the maintenance people can’t do anything about it. The front desk Staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. This hotel charges you $5.00/day for parking. For $225.00/day this is not what we expected.

It was ok. Spacious room, but only one trash can at the kitchen. Hair conditional was out in one of the bathroom, only have 4 towels, no hair dryer. Ok room but the details amenities are lacking. Breakfast is also cold. Not sure why the parking lot gate was locked on one side, quite inconvenient.

I have stayed there before and I was so disappointed this time. They didn’t have the room available that I booked ( even though I sent an email stating my check in would be late due to my flight) so they gave me a “upgrade “ so while it would have been an upgrade it was dirty, stained, broken, and so far from my last experience… I was soooo disappointed. I actually felt unsafe since the door looked like it had been kicked in before and the actual deadbolt didn’t lock. I had to put a chair in front of the door.

Last time I stayed here was 1986 as a kid for MONTHS with parents when they moved here from Europe, so I had a nostalgic reason to want to stay here, AND... the price was good (two teens + Mom and Dad). But the place is pretty tired ... really needs some updating. Breakfast was not bad though. Just old bathrooms, Ants in the first room, every closet door in this place I think is broken or disfunctional, furnishings are a bit worn out, as is the bathrooms. It just needs a solid UPDATE really. More than paint, a real update. It served our need, but next time we'll spend a lil more and go somewhere one star nicer perhaps. Staff was friendly and good location.

I booked a king bed. When I got there, they said they only had a queen. The room smelled badly of dog urine. It was so strong our heads hurt. The cost to wash is way to high $3.25 per load.
