You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

This charming, retro, log cabin has two bedrooms. The first bedroom is off of the dining room with a bunk bed set that consists of full size bed on bottom and a twin size on top. The second bedroom has a twin bed it and a window looking over the property and the lake. There is an additional sleeping area in an alcove off of the living room that has a bunk bed set with a full size bed on bottom and a twin size bed on top. Additional roll away beds can be provided upon request for a total accommodation of 11 people. This delightful cabin has a kitchen, a bathroom with shower, and a living room with a comfortable couch, a coffee table, and two chairs. It comes with its own picnic table and charcoal grill to enjoy while relaxing on the deck overlooking the property and the beautiful Trout Lake. Pets are welcome! You can fish, swim, relax, or ride to the trails right from the cabin.

Trout Lake Resort

Great place to stay, the hostess was very responsive to our questions and stopped personally by to check and make sure we had everything we needed. We had a good time, fishing wasn’t that great when we were there, but that was the general experience with the others that were fishing on that lake. Can’t blame the hostess for that.

It was very clean and communication with the host was quick and friendly. We loved the location and the extra boats we received. The lake is clean and fire pit was nice. We loved watching the ducks and hummingbirds everyday. It's definitely a great place to go!

We love it here

2nd time staying here and loved it just as much as the first time two years ago. It’s clean, quiet, peaceful! The owners are awesome to work with and super nice! We had 6 people in the cabin and had plenty of room and wasn’t right on top of each other. We also love that the boat is included!

Perfect Christmas cabin

We totally enjoyed staying at Trout Lake Resort. Cute cabins and a great view of the lake. It was a perfect day of snowmobiling, and our host set us up with an awesome rental company for the snowmobiling.

Great family relaxing

We rented 2 cabins and had plenty of space for eating, sleeping and relaxing for our group of 12. The lake access is great--plenty of boats to use and good swimming. The owner was very responsive with any questions we had. No wifi, but we had great cell service and the cable/satellite tv worked very well. Our second time here and we would definitely come back!

Great Spot

The owner was very helpful with advice and directions on other attractions to visit in the UP while we were there. The house was a good location to all the things we wanted to see and do on our trip! Use of the boat while staying onsite was a definitely plus and appreciated!

Great little cabin for a family adventure. A getaway with no internet just nature

Carrie was awesome. She answered all of our questions. The available boats were the highlight of the kids time at this cabin. Carrie was also so accommodating in setting up extra beds for our big family.

The cabin was a cabin. Nothing more than that!! It did what it needed to but the beds sucked really bad, our backs will never be same. My biggest problem was NO Wi-Fi and there was NO air conditioning or heat This cabin should NOT say fully equipped

We had a great stay and the cabin was clean and very nice! Great people to work with and they are in the ball with answering any questions or concerns! We loved that a boat was provided with the stay and our kids loved the lake! We will be back for sure for a longer stay next time :)

Very nice place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Trout Lake Resort! I had missed the fine print that a boat was included with our stay, and our boys thoroughly enjoyed the easy access to the lake! The location is great for making day trips to many of the wonderful attractions that the UP has to offer. My only concern was that we did not have cell service (in case of emergency), but others with a different carrier did.

Family cabin

Cabin was fully furnished, there was a bbq grill on our deck, a place to have a fire near the lake. There was also a boat for us to use. Cabin is family and pet friendly. Owner was very responsive to my text. We are thinking about going back next year.

The cabin was well maintained and very clean upon arrival. The owner, Carrie, was very quick to respond to any of my questions. I came with 10 of my friends so we needed 11 places to sleep. Carrie somehow made it possible for all of us to have our own beds. That was really awesome. The fire pit and chairs were really nice. The kitchen had everything you could need for food. Stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster. Awesome. It was a really fun stay and highly recommend to anyone looking into this cabin. Only recommendation to the owners, consider getting wi-fi. The cabin and its location is so great that you don't really need wi-fi. But it is nice to have.

A peaceful getaway, not centered in the mix of daily hustle and bustle of life or tourism.

Our group had a great time we took one day to sight see the Tahquamenon Falls then went to Sault St Marie for more adventure. The cabin stocked games which kept our evenings occupied. They have a fire pit by the lake. Unfortunately, it was a bit windy....(April). Also, their kitchen was a blessing. Something you won't get at a hotel. It saved us a ton in food expenses with 7 of us. We hope to return.

Great Rental and Great Owner

A great place to stay! The property owner Carrie, is super great as well and made our stay as easy and painless as possible. The cabin was very clean and stocked with everything that we could have needed for our stay. Location was also great, being it is located right on the lake. We will definitely be looking to rent again!
