We had to beg for clean towels and our key didn't want to work. The bed was real creaky. The toilet was real low.

Second time staying here and enjoyed it again. Heated outdoor pool is great, the 2 level family suites are great woth everything you need. A Walgreens and burger king are walking distance and the free bus for the Bay is across the road which is awesome. We'll be back again.

Located on a busy road across from bay- need to travel for beach access. Washroom and sofa needs upgrade. It was loud with neighbors outside and in next door unit- you can hear everything. No staff prior to checking or after sunset. They have a pool and queen suites have equipped kitchen and many beds with closets.

Affordable, comfortable but dated

The price was amazing for the time of year and location. Beds were decent. Clean. However, everything is very dated. Things that are that old can only get so clean. Lived that we had a 2 bedroom unit.

A little gem

This was a really nice surprise for us. Our original trip got derailed by bad weather so we pivoted and headed to Traverse City. Since it was the day of we thought we were going to get a bottom of the barrel motel. The room was really clean, large enough for us to have stayed much longer and the bed was one of the most comfortable that I have slept in at a hotel in a long time. The staff was very sweet and we will definitely be back.

Satisfied with our stay. The room was outdated, but comfortable and convenient. I gave the keys to the front desk person at check out. I saw a higher than expected charge and called and they didnt realize I had checked so they charged me another night. It was corrected. But slightly frustrated having the two charges on my bank account until the one dropped.

Apparent staffing shortage there. No one stays over night some nights. Especially Friday! It was a little unsettling. Staff that was there was friendly and helpful.

The motel was nice and quiet. Furniture was outdated but we had everything we needed. The room had a weird smell but that was the only major complaint. It had a good amount of space, was nice to have the pool to ourselves, good area and many things to do nearby.
