This is a wonderful hotel with small rooms. It is ideal for a single traveler but might be too small for 2 people. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was compact but well appointed. The highlight was the onsen spa. It is separate for men and women and a great way to relax after a long day of walking and exploring. My only criticism would be that it is about a 25 minute walk into central Shinjuku or a 1100 yen taxi ride.

This is the typical Japanese business hotel, so you know what to expect here. The room was clean and enough fr my one night stay. It's really helpful if you have to work o visit around Shinjuku, since it's located in the business area. This time it was full of tourist rather than salary men, no problem so far but it could be something to consider if you're traveling for work.

I have an APA a try but I got the sense that it was just flashy Las Vegas but just in Japan. The decor of the hotel is very overwhelming and everything you do in it requires an upgrade. Even using the pool was 2000 yen extra per person on top of your stay. The food was terrible. The eggs were watery and gross. If you are looking for an authentic Japanese feel for your vacation this is NOT it. Also the rooms are tiny tiny. I will say the city views from the room were beautiful. The hotel was fine and clean… just not my vibe.

The property and room was very old and did not look as the photos portrayed. The room was extreme small and stuffy. The air quality was poor and it smelled old and moldy. Alternatively the staff was friendly and the location was conveniently located near the metro.

The APA was decent enough but the rooms are VERY small and so are the bathrooms. It’s pretty popular for foreigners and is conveniently by the train station.

Good location, very close to public transport and accessible. Handy to have self service laundry. Beds sooo comfy. Only thing to be aware of, is that the bathrooms are tiny in the room. For anyone really tall or big, it would be a difficult fit.

Literally have a 5 min walk to the train that takes you everywhere you would need ! There is an elevator near the hotel side to help with luggages as well. The location is quiet and the street is safe . There is a family mart and 7 eleven within walking distance so that was useful . The downstairs pub was nice to have. The staff didn’t speak English really well but they could get by enough with translate on the phone. The room had everything you need and they cleaned per requests daily . Would definitely stay there again
