Quick Sequoia Trip

A little tired looking but clean, with everything in working order. The management was also very helpful when we needed to alter our reservation mid-trip.

There is a play area outside, which was great for the children. It is in a lovely setting. Breakfast included make your own waffles, which was good.

Pretty average. A little on the dirty side particularly the floors. Water pressure was not that good and some things like lights weren't working properly.

Disappointing

Our stay was quite disappointing, starting with the check-in process. We were informed that our requested room wasn't available because we had a pet, despite the hotel being described as 'pet-friendly.' They blamed Hotels.com for the issue. We were placed in a different room, and while the facilities are spacious, they are quite run-down. There is no view of the river as it's blocked by a large levee behind the property. On multiple occasions, there was no water in the mornings or evenings, and when we inquired at the front desk, they simply suggested that everyone was probably taking a shower at the same time. Breakfast is served after 7:30 AM, so if you plan to leave early for the park, don't count on having breakfast at the hotel. Overall, I found this hotel overpriced for the service it provides.

The electrical outlets did not work in the bathroom and the water pressure was very poor. It was a great location, and with a few updates this place would be amazing. The property itself was very nice and we felt quite safe.

The pool was green. The tv had 7 channels and not all of them had sound. The ice machine had bugs in it. I would not stay here again.

This property is disgusting!! Cockroaches inside the room! Manager didn’t do anything to accommodate after we told them about the roaches. They said we must’ve left the door open when all we did was go there to sleep! We weren’t there all day. In order to rid of them they’d have to bomb the place. I don’t see them doing so as they didn’t care to fix it with their disgusted guests. DO NOT STAY HERE

Pros: shower was hot. Pool was clean. Unexpected free breakfast. Cons: rooms weren’t very clean (socks under bed, bugs in bathroom), bed was lumpy, poor water pressure, hairdryer didn’t work.

Ging so….

Sehr einfach und ein wenig runtergekommen. Eigentlich eine gute Lage und auch das Gelände könnte mehr… Pool, Spielplatz aber es ist alles in letzter Konsequenz zu lieblos und lässt Pflege vermissen. Aber für 2,3 Nächte wo man den Tag sowieso im Park oder woanders verbringen möchte ok. Wer Luxus sucht sollte aber definitiv woanders hin.
