Good place, and could have been better
We stayed as family for 3 nights (2 adults, 2 teens) The property is good and sufficient for the group. Three points worth bringing up here. 1) There are two nice bedroom upstairs and two full bathroom downstairs. Coming down each time to use the washroom was odd & uncomfortable, but not a deal breaker. 2) One of the upstairs bedroom has one (extra) unusable broken King Bed, that should really be taken out or pushed into storage. Not sure, why that bed is left in the middle of the room :-) 3) Wifi is completely broken and as I managed to get it working the first night, I realized that the cable modem is actually unusably slow. And worse, the modem stopped and the internet was busted the second / third day. So, no Wifi at all. On the first evening, no one responded to the Wifi failure, so we all gave up the second & third nights from even trying to report it again. :-( 4) There is no TV. This could be a good thing, in a sense, but I did not notice this in the listing before booking. Again, not a deal breaker for me. Just sharing it here. Overall, not a bad place, but you should know all the above before booking.

Beautiful property
Beautiful property with large pine trees in the yard. House was well equipt with dishes and even laundry soap. Neighborhood was very nice and house was located on a dead end street. Only complaint they were building a house cady corner to us the whole time except sundays but not during quiet hours of 10 pm to 9 am. Close to lake tahoe .

Lovely home with great proximity to lovely beaches
The home is well-maintained, clean, fully stalked, plenty of beds, linens, and towels. No ac but that’s standard for Tahoe and they did have fans. Check in and out was easy peasy. Close to trails for morning walks/runs. My only complaint is the queen bed in the master bedroom - the mattress had a huge dip (as I’d really old) and needs replacing. Thanks for the great stay!

Great inside, limited outdoor space
The inside of the cabin is great. The disappointing part was the yard. Except for the small front porch, there is no designated area to be outside for barbecuing, sitting or eating.

Comfortable but a little quirky
Like others have commented, the layout is a little funky. But it did the job, and was in a great location. Some of the frying pans were either still dirty or had teflon peeling off, so we didn't really use them unfortunately. Had a very short power outage the last night we were there, the plug in flashlight at the home didn't work, but luckily the power came on in an hour. Other than that, was a very nice stay!

My stay in Tahoma CA August 24 - August 31, 2020
Property as listed on VBRO is not a 2 Bedroom it is a One Bedroom and a loft. Also when we arrived several areas in the home needed to be cleaned properly. Several spider cobwebs upstairs and down. Beds upstairs had thick layer of dust underneath. Inside Kitchen cabinets needed to be wiped clean of food and crumbs.

Beautiful cabin
This beautiful cabin has wonderful wood floors and beautiful workmanship. The layout is strange though. There are two bathrooms downstairs and none where the bedrooms are upstairs. You have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other bedroom. There is no outside space to hang out in and no bbq. I did not like dealing with Vacasa the management service. They never answered a call or text except to ask you to download their app. I loved the neighborhood.

Cozy cabin!
Very quite neighborhood and clean cabin. We enjoyed the cabin eve though there are no televisions but there is Wi-fi so we could spend more time as a family unplugged for a couple of days! Would stay again!

Charming
This charming cabin was more than expected, especially having the choice between 5 beds in two different bedrooms! We found everything in good order, and were delighted by the attractive and cozy touches added to make our stay a welcoming one. Definitely on our list for a return visit.

Very Clean near the state park
I have been renting in Tahoma and this was a very pleasant rental. Everything was clean and updated. The house was well stocked. I was a little concerned that the bedrooms were all upstairs while the bathrooms were downstairs, but the staircase was not as steep as some that I have seen in the older Tahoma cabins. If you have friends/family staying in the Sugar Pine state park, you can't beat this place for location. You can just walk to the end of the street and cut through the hole in the fence and you are there!

Nice house, large kitchen and dining room
The house was very comfortable. The layout is a little strange with 2 bathrooms side-by-side downstairs which leads to a lot of clutter in the living room if you don't want to be constantly carrying clothes up and down the stairs. The house is also quite a ways back in a quiet neighborhood. If there's a lot of snow, you'll definitely need a car that can handle a lot of snow and ice. Other than that, the home was lovely. I especially liked the large dining area and the big window looking out at the beautiful trees.
