We were dissapointed that the room we booked was unavailable. We didn’t understand why as there were not that many guests. The property needs repair and updating. It has a very musty smell throughout. Our room had torn carpet, water stained curtains and a very old, stained bathroom. The towels were tiny, and rough. Our room smelled so musty we almost left. Staff was friendly but would never stay here again.

Had to request a new room because the first room was right next to rooms they were renovating. It sounded like they were going to come right thru the wall. When I called the front desk, I was told the work ended at 6:00pm, but started at 8:00 am. Thats a little early when i am on vacation. The key card to my room stopped working on day two of my stay. I had to go to the front desk and get it rekeyed. The bed was comfortable and the location is right in the heart of Gig Harbor.

This was one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever experienced. We used to stay at this property many years ago (20 ) and know from experience they have not updated, fixed, or really cleaned anything since. To top it off, my wife almost stepped on a used condom in the parking lot near our car.

The Hotel and the room we stayed in were very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The Staff behind the desk were very welcoming and helpful. In the Dining Room, Mai Mai (sp) was especially pleasant and welcoming. I enjoyed the view of the Mountain (I think Mount St. Helens) from my window and the sunrise in the morning was beautiful. The location was great. I appreciated the availability of coffee, water and tea at the front desk especially upon arrival when feeling a bit tired and overwhelmed. Ours was not a vacation trip as we were visiting a very ill family member and the kindness of the staff and the thoughtfulness, comfort and ambience of the Hotel very appreciated. We hope to come back to the area within the next two months before the Holidays and plan to opt to stay at this Hotel again for all the above reasons. Thank you!

Perfect for our needs
Great location. Clean and comfortable. Included breakfast was really good. Only issues were related to WiFi outage which was completely out of hotel’s control. We will definitely be staying again.

4th hotel of the trip and least favorite as it had a strange vibe. Staff wasn't friendly (once we had checked in) or professional and we witnessed an argument between the front desk clerk and housekeeping right in the lobby. Property could be very nice (just started being remodeled, which may help.) Our room was clean but worn, with obvious updates needed. Exercise room was marginal - no TV (just a blank monitor on the wall,) strangest elliptical, no bike option, weights, no mirrors, limited space to use them. Breakfast was marginal- hot items were not edible, few healthy options other than fresh fruit. staff was not around and did not replenish food and beverages as they were used up even though there was an hour left for breakfast. I can't imagine scheduling a meeting or event there even though they had space for it.

Most of the place seemed in good condition and updated, although my room had the wall and wall paper peeling off near the ceiling throughout the room. Most of the staff was good, although some weren't super professional and were busy talking to coworkers when I was trying to get help at the counter and continued talking even while helping me.
