Firefly Bend Treehouse - View of the National Forest from Your Bed

Firefly Bend Treehouse was built on the side of a hill in a bend of the creek. The treehouse is completely secluded and sits on 5 acres with 2 other treehouses and main cabin. You can enjoy the sounds of the creek and the birds as you relax in the hot tub. Located in the national forest you’ll be able to truly get away from it all. Hiking, Kayaking, Cycling can all be done nearby. Visit towns of Blue Ridge, Dahlonega or Blairsville. Enjoy nearby Vogel State park or Wolf Mountain Winery.

All of the commonly touches areas in our properties are disinfected as the last step in the cleaning process.

This property is in the care of Suches Vacation Rentals, and they feature 24 cabins in the Georgia Mountains. They have over 2300 reviews online with a 4.8 out of 5 point average. The top three qualities observed by guests include: sparkling clean, thoughtful touches, and local tips. It is the goal of SVR to make sure that your vacation is memorable and that you are able to experience the many activities found here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Firefly Bend Treehouse with its modern design is nestled on a hillisde near a creek on the Hemlock Farm, where a small passel of animals and the main family reside in a log cabin. Please note, there are friendly, free roaming cats on the property as well as dogs at the main cabin. Private treehouse with a view of the creek and waterfall; short walk takes you to bathroom, with running water and electricity. Rear of the property accesses the national forest for hiking in a serene and rarely used portion of the mountains. The treehouse is heated and sealed, so you'll enjoy during all seasons.

Located just off the creek, you'll be lulled to sleep by the trickling of the stream just outside your window. You'll have access to the treehouse bathroom, which features running water and is shared by all three treehouses.

The treehouse also features an outdoor kitchen so you can cook your favorite camp style meals while still enjoying the seclusion of the forest. The kitchen is equipped with a stove burner, cutting board, knife set, utensils, wash basin, 7 gallon drum of water, dish soap, and a sponge. In addition to the kitchen, the firepit has a grate on it, allowing you to use charcoal or wood to grill.

Glamping - Going camping, but with glamour. A combination of the two words. It's like regular camping , but with nicer things than usual, being warmer, and more comfortable. Glamping isn't done by usual outdoor types who climb mountains.

Treehouses are glamping experiences and as such here’s what you can expect:

Comfy beds, k cup coffee brewers, microwave, outdoor kitchen, heated mattress pads, real furniture and radiator heaters, real furniture - dresser, beds, chairs and electricity.

You should probably avoid treehouses if you…

1. Don’t enjoy temps outside of the range you would keep for your home.
2. If you don’t like walking back to the woods to reach and enjoy your treehouse.
3. Don’t want to walk to the main cabin to use a flushing toilet and or take a shower.
4. If the idea that the treehouses are not completely sealed and you may occasionally see a critter trying to move in, although we do try and keep them out, upsets you.

If you enjoy the woods, nature, being away from city noise then you may just enjoy a stay in one of our treehouses.

The treehouse is equipped with a microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator, but doesn't have running water. There is drinking water and a camp toilet for quick night runs. The showering facilities and parking area are a short walk away and shared by all three treehouses.
Other things to note:
WiFi is available at the main cabin only.

No amplified sound equipment can be used outdoors between the hours of 10pm and 8am Sunday - Thursday and not between the hours of 11pm and 8 am Friday and Saturday.
