This is an old property that needs a major update both inside and out. Rooms were clean but hallways and major areas needed cleaning. Motels was full because it is in Door County the number one tourist destination in Wisconsin. Way past due for an overhaul. Paint on outside is peeling and wood is cracking. Need new carpet and paint inside. Time to spend some money and bring this motel up to date.

They do need to clean the rooms more. We found trash behind our cabinets and some of the floor lamps did not work. Some of the furniture needed some upgrading but mainly just some deep cleaning in the bathrooms and beds.

The facility is older and could use some attention as our toilet was not working on day 2 but the staff was very attentive and accommodating in allowing us to change rooms. And that was because there was no maintenance person on staff at that time to take care of room adjustment or repair issues. Facility is OK and was clean - staff was great!

Stayed in this hotel twice now, we come back because its dog friendly and has a pool and hottub. The price is a bit high for the quality but its for the location, Sturgeon Bay is a great place to visit!

Hotel bathroom very small and tiny bath tub. Bathroom exhaust fan was not working on our 2days stay, no one fixed it even though we complained at the front desk. I won’t recommend this hotel anyone to stay.

Clean and Quiet! A Little Service Would be Nice!

The room was clean and very quiet hotel. The staff were pleasant. During our 3 night stay we had no service to our room. No clean towels, no trash removal! I understand not doing the beds, etc. but please check my trash after 2 days and give me a clean towel.

Kind of run down and could use updating on the inside and out. Opened up the crank window and couldn’t close it all the way. The room and hallways smell like strong cleanser covering up mustiness. Clean for the most part. Bed not very comfortable. Would pick somewhere else next time.

Don't let the pictures fool you. They must have been taken when it was built. Pool was cloudy. Hot tub was dirty. Shower head wasn't working properly. Room was in fair to average condition. The little fridge was kicking on and off all night. Breakfast food was average.

Our room was clean. Beds and pillows were soft. Good location, easy to drive to highways. Across from a CVS and a dollar store. Breakfast was good, only complaint is the scrambled eggs were not very good. Our kids loved the pool and we liked the hot tub.
