Was hit with an extra charge for the room that the hotel wouldn’t refund. Room was loud. Site was nice, but the noise and extra charge is enough to keep me from coming back.

We very much enjoyed our stay, staff was very welcoming especially upon arrival. It was very close to a lot of the activities Stowe has to offer. We will definitely be staying here again!

The staff at the front desk was very nice as we were given a room without a river view at first but we had reserved one with a river view and she switched us without a problem. The room had quite a strong damp mold smell. There was a private event, therefore we had limited access to the grounds and there was loud music playing and about 60 teenagers running around. The next morning there was still garbage all over the grounds from the event all the way into the river (plastic party props, dirty plates and plastic cups etc….). It was our wedding anniversary and it really wasn’t romantic at all due to these issues…

There was no table surfaces to put anything down and those there were so small in a room sleeping 4 people. Bathroom was tiny and again no shelf space to put things down and no towel racks to even hang up a wet towel. We understand the idea of minimalism but this was too much.

A really chilled out place to stay , with super comfortable beds and rooms that are welcoming and well designed. I loved the facilities- the pool is cool and so is the sauna ! The grounds overlooking the river are a really tranquil place to be

A beautiful property with lots of outdoors amenities. Was in a perfect location between hiking and town. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. It's now the only place we want to stay when we visit Stowe!

Second stay at Talta Lodge and again very happy with the experience. Rooms are on the small side but very thoughtfully designed to maximize utility. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Very cute. Beautiful view of river. However, construction on river bank started before 8 am and continued until at least 4 pm. And hot tub seemed to be out of order.
