Second stay here - in the quiet season. Nice, fun hotel. Only downside was that the bar wasn’t open while we were there (Monday/Tuesday) - could imagine it being great fun when Stowe gets busy. Rooms are decent - though could do with a little more easy maintenance to kick them up a notch (like the baseboard heaters falling off).

FGL was great! The rooms are a bit small but they are clean and adequate. The bed was very comfortable. The lounge area was unique and relaxing, a real fun spot to enjoy a glass of wine. The hotel is also close to everything. Definitely check out The Bench which is right across the street, fantastic food! Aiden at FGL is phenomenal! Professional, helpful and a Bear whisperer!😉. Highly recommend

After 10 day trip to New England, this was the worst place we stayed and was the most expensive! Quirky room with just one chair in the room; most uncomfortable cheap bed. Would definitely stay somewhere else.

Not quite enough nice for price.
A nice hotel with lots to see within a few minutes walk but overall, just a bit pricey for what you get. We paid $460 a night ($600 plus Cdn) for a nice stay, but simply not worth anything close to that. Service was excellent and room was good, but not great. Shower pressure was weak and very uncomfortable for anyone over about six feet.

This hotel is so incredibly charming. It has the look of an old school ski lodge but is very updated. It plays up the nostalgia factor (vhs tapes and 80s era jackets hanging on the walls) while having whatever modern amenities you could hope for (appletv and usb ports). I would love to stay here again and again and bring friends.

Such a unique themed restaurant with inviting common spaces. We loved the Apres Only lounge area, as well as the multiple spaces by the fire. The interiors of our rooms were well decorated.

Fabulous fall foliage trip
Beautifully decorated with eclectic furnishings and cozy sitting areas with fireplaces throughout the lobby and first floor. Great location within walking distance of restaurants and shopping, Excellent customer service and communication before, during and after our stay.
