We were in for one night. We arrived early evening and knew we would be leaving early morning. The room & bathroom were clean. It was also quiet so we got our sleep & were able leave early the next. We will use the Commodores Inn when we are in the area again and staying longer.

I will say from the outside the place looks nice, but the inside need to be remodel. The place looks dirty and very antique.

We were very satisfied with our 2 night stay at Commodores Inn. Our room was clean and in excellent shape. The beds were very comfortable, the rug and curtains appeared to be new. Coffee and breakfast items in the AM. The indoor pool looked very nice but we didn't have time for it. We were in a pet friendly room so we could bring our little dog too ! We definitely would stay here again.

As soon as we walked into the lobby we loved the place. Front desk staff was friendly. A big round table for eating, a comfy lounging area with tv, 24 hour hot beverages and snacks, an area with games & books, a desk for computer. They also have a fitness center and an indoor pool. It's a 20 minute walk to the adorable downtown. Our room was large and quiet with comfortable beds. There were vending machines on our floor. It was a fabulous place to stay.

Roommate’s bed had soiled linen on bottom sheet—appeared to have not been changed. Had to request new set of sheets. Terrible pillows, small and lumpy. Carpet on floor had dark spots. Dirty walls in room. Spoke to assistant manager who said manager not available for next 3 days, so unable to discuss compensation.

Charming if dated property

It had its charms, and the pool area and accessibility to the pond were definite highlights. Unfortunately, there was water damage on the property due to recent storms and a ceiling tile fell in while we there. The property would benefit from a refresh, but still had its charms.

. Comfortable

Less expensive than most in area. Outdated facility but clean and well cared for. Couple of minor issues with toilet (rocks, runs slowly but constantly). Would be great if on site restaurant served breakfast although a Continental is available. Indoor pool and Jacuzzi are pleasant but outdoor pool and game room were closed. Staff was very pleasant. One major issue for us... security. Not comfortable with easy outside access for one...more important was old fashioned key entry to rooms. Went to wrong room on way back from pool but key opened door anyway and allowed access.Fortunately no one in room at that time but was occupied later. Spent night with chair bracing door. Hopefully it was a rare coincidence but still disconcerting. Would still recommend based on cost but would pay attention to security.

Old school charm

Clean, comfy, family- and pet-friendly inn. The decor has a vintage 1980s feel, but the rooms were neat and clean and the beds were comfy. Short walk to Green Goddess Cafe (cute local place), 5 minute drive to Stowe, and 15 minutes to Ben and Jerry's. My son loved the indoor pool and hot tub.
