Wrong room, overcharged

We booked a room with two beds and paid extra for an atrium view. We were first put into a room with 1 bed, then we were corrected to a room with two beds but no view. It was fine but we overpaid for a room we didn't get, we should be refunded something. And the app (hotels.com) charged us a $10 surcharge for parking and another $10 for breakfast, but no breakfast was provided and parking was complimentary. Seemed like the booking app and hotel weren't communicating at all. Bad user experience. Hotel is fine, some rooms are nice and redone (our first, wrong room) and some are old and basic (the 2nd room we stayed in).

There was a worker strike and despite confirmation they turned us away at property with nowhere to go. No housekeeping either. Really unbelievable for a Hyatt

Had some construction/renovation going on when we were there. But, beautiful lobby and entrances. A nice place to stay when we are visiting family in Stamford! We will definitely be back.

Regency needs better AC in the rooms.

The hotel was clean and the lobby was amazing! The room’s AC was horrible! It did not blow enough cold air. Had trouble sleeping. The pillows were too soft and no support. I received additional pillows from the front desk but it was the same issue. Overall the hotel was nice. $20 per day for parking is outrageous. Hold of the parking lot was unused.

Been staying here for years, maybe my next visit the hotel will finally be up and running? parking lot was being paved / hassle...no late night food options. Ideal setting for the event being held.

Only upon booking this hotel was I notified is the construction. The debris and smell from such caused discomfort and flare ups of personal health concerns for myself and young children. The noise was heard from construction. The room was dirty, hairs and dirt found in the bathroom and dirty cups found sitting outside the room for over a day. In addition, parking cost an additional fee. I am seeking a refund and will not be staying at this hotel again.
