Welcome to the Oak Beach Cottage! Nestled on a quiet street just a 4 minute walk to the St. Simons Island beach, this custom built home has it ALL! The large 30x18 swimming pool and spa (can be heated upon request for an additional fee) is a resort like escape for guests to enjoy the large backyard space with tropical palm trees and a poolside hammock to soak up island time.

Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (10 persons). Events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc. are strictly not permitted.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount of $40/night is included in each reservation. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and even experiences with select vendors! – the choice is yours!

Newly updated and furnished, this beautiful beach home features a large open concept floor plan with a brand new chef's kitchen which is centered around an oversized island with plenty of room to prepare meals and equipped with high end appliances. The coastal themed dining area is located next to the kitchen area and has seating for 10 guests. The large living space has plenty of seating for guests to enjoy gathering to watch the game or movies on the huge HD Smart TV. The gas fireplace is available for guests to enjoy during the cooler months. From the living area, guests have direct access to the large deck with plenty of space for outdoor dining while overlooking the large beautifully landscaped yard as well as the pool and spa. Interested in grilling your catch of the day? The new Weber Genesis gas grill has plenty of grilling space for a delicious surf and turf meal. Interested in bringing your dog? The Oak Beach Cottage is a pet friendly property and the fenced in back yard space is the perfect place for your pooch to safely roam and explore.

On the first floor, guests will find a spacious primary bedroom suite with a comfortable King bed, large HD Smart TV, a sitting area, pool views and a large primary bathroom. The closet is large and has plenty of space for guests to use this area as a sleeping area for young children in a pack n play crib. Upstairs guests will find a second primary bedroom suite with a king bed, en suite bathroom with a tub/shower and a private balcony overlooking the pool area. The bunk room is the perfect space for kids to sleep or gather and offers a queen bed and two twin bunk beds. The third guest bedroom shares the hall bathroom with the bunk room and also features a small balcony and a queen bed.

The Oak Beach Cottage has ample parking for 5 vehicles as well as a large garage space with two extra refrigerators and ice making capability. The large laundry room offers guests a front load washer and dryer during their stay. The cottage does have high speed Xfinity Wi-Fi available throughout the house as well as a full cable channel offering through Xfinity.

Great home for family vacation
The home was very pretty with a great yard and pool. The kitchen had everything you would ever need and beach gear. The location was perfect with only 5 min walk to beach and 15 min walk to the Village with shops, restaurants, playground and pier. We would definitely stay there again, it was all we hoped it would be.

A quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to East Beach
The house is well designed for family visits and is an easy walk to the beach. Additionally, the house was extremely clean, the yard was very well maintained, and the heated pool (heating available with a heating fee) was great for the family, even on cool days. The house is relatively new, and had received a recent upgrade making it suitable for rental. It is located on a double lot, with a spacious and well maintained back yard. We had a minor problem with the oven, but the rental agency quickly responded and told us where the circuit breakers were located and how to reset them which solved the issue. Although not inexpensive, we thought the value was appropriate. We certainly will consider this property on our next visit to the Island.

This house is awesome! Perfect location for both the beach and the village, but with a spacious yard that worked well for outdoor fun. Well furnished, clean — everything we needed. And we loved that the dogs were welcome. I’ll definitely book again.

We had a nice stay…the back yard was perfect for the dog and the kids had a blast swimming in the pool . Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the villlage. Would be happy to stay there again

Amazing stay!
We absolutely loved the house it was BETTER than advertised. Great space, great yard and pool, great location. We were able to walk the dog to the beach and wife and I walked to the village. Had to weather hurricane Idalia one day and couldnt have had a more secure and fun place to be. Will book again

Wonderful!
We celebrated Memorial Day weekend with our best friends. The house was perfect. Very clean, had everything we needed. The backyard is spacious and well kept. Our golden doodles especially loved running around and chasing each other! The pool and hot tub were wonderful for the family and kids. The beach is in walking distance as well. We really loved our stay and would definitely come back!

We stayed here for a quick family vacation and wished we could have stayed longer. The house was spotless and had everything a family of 6 adults and 3 kids could possibly need. The backyard is beautiful and there was plenty of room for the dog to run around play. It is a quick bike ride or walk to the restaurants and beach. Highly recommend staying here!
