Hurricane Milton
Thursday after Hurricane Milton, we drove down 12 hrs for a wedding on Sat. Found Spark, but they did not have electricity for Thurs to Saturday. No update or phone call to alert, as was with another hotel, Homewood Suites. COULD NOT STAY, But someone was there each day we checked so we could get a refund. So that was nice. Found another hotel across street. Overall Spark in a side corner, not fancy area, and did look new and remodeled.

First arrived. Waited at desk mulitiple minutes to check in no one was in the area. Hollared out Hello a few times no one came. Seen a bell at the desk rang it once waited a couple minutes rang it again. Still nothing could hear music blaring in the back. Finally went to car and got my cell to call the desk. Took a couple minutes for lady to come to the front and answer the phones. It was a few minutes after 8 pm when we arrived. She wasnt very friendly. Seemed like we disturbed something. Pool was dark green. Kids was disappointed. Breakfast consists of cereal and bagels. Checking out even the lady wasnt very welcoming.

Our stay was great overall. The morning of the 24th we woke to no water for showers. After calling front desk they stated that they failed to advise of water outage prior to our check in. Other than than that it was a good stay.

This place looks like it was a cheaper hotel they slapped paint on. I’ve stayed in a lot of hiltons and this doesn’t deserve the Hilton name. We could hear the people next to us most of the night and in the hall. I wouldn’t stay here or a spark ever again. Positive the room was clean even if the remodel was apparent.

Not only did the room looked clean it smelled clean. Hotel is in great condition! The gentleman at the front desk ( Campbell) was very welcoming and accommodating. Did not have breakfast but the opportunity to fix a cup of tea or coffee is available even after breakfast is served. AND check out is at NOON!!

Check-in was a little rough. The room was excellent! Clean, plenty of plugs with usb & C. Small fridge, iron with ironing board and hair dryer. The bed was very comfy!

I loved this hotel, the room was nice, and the beds were really comfortable, although the sheets were a little stinky, I'd want to assumed they change them everyday so I'm not sure if it was the mattress or the sheets, but they smell musty, other than that everything was great.

The room itself was fine. It was clean, shower was nice but the “free breakfast” was a complete joke. Try harder than muffins, bagels and plain yogurt.
