INSIDE THE HOME
Let this quaint two-story home be your refuge from the 9-5 grind. Wake up feeling refreshed with a cup of coffee on the back deck or enjoy breakfast in the bright kitchen. The main floor has an open living and dining area with direct access to the kitchen. Exposed brick in the kitchen shows a glimpse of the house's past families. The kitchen is equipped with all major necessitates and more. The main floor also features a bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath. Upstairs you'll find the master bedroom with a king-size bed along with the second bedroom equipped with two twin beds. The master bath upstairs includes a beautiful skylight and is shared between the second bedroom room and master bedroom. In the 'not so creepy' basement you'll find ample lighting and a full-sized washer and dryer.

Additionally, the house was recently renovated and has fresh paint and new carpeting.

South Haven Stay
Home Away Haven is a nice house located within walking/biking distance from the South Haven main strip and beach. The property was clean, the managers were easy to work with and courteous. The only reason this isn't a full 5 stars is the AC went out after the first night. Upon notification, the team sent out a repairman but was unable to fix the issue. Even using fans, the interior maintained a temp from 75-80 degrees. My group was there to play board games and this did make it more challenging given the heat. Hopefully the AC gets fixed and nobody else has the issue. It really is a nice place to stay and you can't beat the location.

Great location, cute property
Great location. We enjoyed about a half mile walk to the downtown area and 0.7 miles to Kids Corner and the beach. Cute, very clean - smaller home was perfect for me, husband, and 4 kiddos. Kitchen was reasonably appointed- we ate most of our meals at home. This kids enjoyed the hot tub. The property mgr brought a hair dryer and high chair right over when I needed them.

Great location
The location is perfect, close to downtown and the beach. Very quiet. The tub is a plus! The only downside was that some parts of the house weren't as clean as they should have been, specially the kitchen area. Some of the dinning chairs had dust, countertops dirty, the inside of cutlery drawer was disgusting and the cutlery holder wasn't clean at all. We had to clean and washed everything. We contacted the management and they apologized but didn't make any cleaning fee refund, which was a disappointment.

Two family trip
We stayed at this house with 4 adults and 4 children. It was well appointed for cooking and was the perfect amount of space for us + had a great backyard! Our biggest piece of feedback would be to put some sort of shade on the French door on the 1st floor bedroom. The location is good- a bit further walk from the beach & downtown (across a busy road) but was doable, even with kids! The owner was responsive & helpful - we had a great trip!

Adorable house!
The house was perfect for me and my friends. It was beautifully furnished and decorated and had the perfect amount of space for 7 of us. The hot tub was a great touch as well. Everything we needed was either within walking distance or under a five minute drive. The property was also stocked with extra toiletries, which we loved. The property managers also sent a couple of emails prior to our stay letting us know activities that were happening in the area during our trip. 10/10 recommend!

Charming 60th Birthday Retreat
A group of 7 ladies in my family (+1 baby) stayed at this charming property on our visit to South Haven to celebrate my Mom's 60th birthday. The home was exactly as it was represented in the photographs -- charming and well equipped. We ate most of our meals in, and the well stocked kitchen had everything we needed (pans, utensils, can openers, etc) to prepare them. The beds (and bedding) were comfortable, even the pull out couch which surprised me as those can be hit or miss. The lego blocks for kids in the living room was a nice touch and my 9 month old really enjoyed playing with them. A few of us also liked using the hot tub after long days of walking around town. We easily fit 3 larger cars in the driveway. One morning while doing dishes, the sink started leaking underneath. I called the property manager and they had a plumber at the house in under 10 minutes. He fixed the issue (something needed to be tightened) in under 15 minutes, so it didn't adversely impact our stay at all. I hesitated to even include it in my review, but thought the rapid response from the property manager was worthy of praise. There were also some ants in the kitchen, but I honestly think South Haven was built on an ant hill with the number I saw in the town that weekend. We saw ants and ant hills everywhere we went and the property had ant traps available, so I know they were trying to resolve the issue. We just tried to be diligent about cleaning up and it wasn't a big deal. The property is on the edge of where I would want to stay in terms of location, especially if walkability to the downtown South Haven area is important to you. It is close to a Dollar Tree and some gas stations, so not the most beautiful setting, but the house was nestled in an established neighborhood so it wasn't like we were staring at those things 24/7. My son and I took early morning walks from the house to some local coffee shops (Julia's which was our favorite, and the Flying Saucer), the beach, and some restaurants during our stay. It was a comfortable walk in tennis shoes for someone in good health. It was too far to walk for some of our guests who were older and had trouble walking longer distances. Overall, this home was ideal for our stay and we spent the majority of our time there playing games, eating, and enjoying each other's company. The small touches, like adorable coffee mugs and having utensils for a child, made us feel right at home.

Cute house near the beach
The house is really cute and cozy. We enjoyed having a hot tub and fire pit available. It's not a bad walk to downtown and the beach, so we didn't drive much during the stay. The owners/managers were very considerate and had plenty of supplies for us (including beach towels, dishware, and a few snacks).

Great family time!
Short fall break get away for our family. Great house! Everything seemed really new! Hot tub was great! However low on water, but when manager was called, they acted quick! Kids loved it! Fire pit was fun to relax on a fall night. Would have liked to have a hair dryer as we forgot one! South Haven is always fun. Even hung out on the beach for a bit to enjoy the waves. 567 is on top of our list for future stays!

Nice house, ok location
Overall the house was nice. Definitely on the small size but ok for a single family. The downstairs could definitely use some blinds/drapes. We felt a lack of privacy. We had issues with the air conditioning going out and poor communication with the property rental company. After 15 hours and a very warm night we finally had air again. We completely understand that things like this happen but we’re very disappointed with the help we received from the rental company. Location was pretty good, 10-15 minute walk to town.

Entire house in great location
The house was perfect for our family to enjoy the holiday weekend near the lake/beach. It has enough space for six of us to comfortably enjoy our time. The hot tub and fire pit were a big hit. The location is very convenient to go to town or the beach where there are many things to see and do. We will definitely come back to visit South Haven again!

This property was perfect for our short family vacation. House was very clean and management company was very responsive to some initial questions we had. Only drawbacks - there’s an ant infestation in a bush off the front porch and the ants are starting to get into the kitchen and there’s no grill. But we made do. Would recommend.

Fun small family getaway spot
Cute house for small family, tastefully decorated, quiet neighborhood close to all fun South Haven activities. Hot tub was a hit for the little ones. Nice landscaping and back yard. Rooms upstairs spacious with plenty of storage. First floor bedroom and bath on the smaller side but as advertised and perfectly fine for the right size family.
