No frills.
No frills cabin in no attempt for repeat business. Not much apparent thought given to welcome guests or elevate the accommodations. Basic utensils not even provided in the kitchen with plenty of mismatched spoons, but no knives or forks for eating.

Great cabin
If your looking for a quiet quaint little get away this is the one! Enjoy a midnight dip in the hot tub while looking at the mountain terrain that surrounds the valley. The only complaint is that the wifi is glitchy when multiple people stay in the compound at once other than that it is your getaway youve waited for

Very Cozy!
We stayed two nights as a ski trip at wolf creek. We brought our own food and the minimal kitchen fit perfectly for our simple meals of breakfast burritos and grilled cheese. The hot tub was warm and private and we enjoyed how easy it was to access. The bed was comfortable and the space was just right for two of us. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect for a couple
This cozy cabin was very comfortable, more spacious than expected and very clean. It was great to get to Wolf Creek in just over 20 minutes and the gas fireplace kept the cabin very warm and cozy.

Very clean exactly as shown
Place was very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub. The only issue we had was the propane heater. We followed the directions to turn it off as it was very warm outside. We followed all the information to keep the cabin cool during the day. But when we returned to the cabin in the evening it was hot 80 degrees or more. The heater seemed to turn on during the day when we were out and shut off at night. Other than that it was very quiet and peaceful and the views were beautiful. Good location close to everything you need.

Short stay, broken hot tub
Booked a short trip because of the hot tub and fireplace/stove. Was disappointed the stove wasn't wood burning as expected but settled for gas. Sat in the hot tub once upon arrival and it was at 104 (perfect). Got in later and the temp dropped to 95 so we got out. Was hoping to soak one more time in the morning at the temp had then dropped to 75 and was unusable. Reached out to manager and never heard anything back. For the price we paid, was mostly disappointed in the hot tub. Keep in mind also this 'cabin' is behind an old motel right in town and not remote by any means. Overpriced for unusable amenities and location.

Fall colors
We rented this property to go up into the mountains to see the fall colors. South Fork is a good location to travel in several directions. The cabin was comfortable, quiet, and clean. We loved the hot tub at the end of the day. I recommend you bring a set of sheets. These were of the exfoliating type. Other than that, all was great!

Nice, but hot!
Our only complaints are 1. Only one window opens, would really be nice to have screen doors so we could open up the cabin too cool it down! 2. When we left the cleaning staff parked around our cabin with no regard to us, leaving us with a really tight place to park, with our pickup it was almost impossible to park! Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay!

10/10 cabin!!
This cabin in South Fork exceeded all expectations for us, such a great location within the heart of the mountains and minutes away from multiple Ski Resorts. The drive to Pagosa from South Fork is breathtaking- and South Fork itself is such a sweet little town with everything you’d need. I recommend this to everyone!

Lovely cabin in great location.
The cabin was nice, clean and in a great location. It is not obvious in the listing that the stove in the cabin is a gas stove and it heats the cabin. There is no wood burning stove in the cabin. With that said, the stove heats the cabin well. It automatically shuts off when the desired temp is reached. The hot tub was not hot. We were unable to use it during our stay. If this is important to you, verify that it will be working during your stay. Cabin gives you easy access to skiing, snowshoeing, and visiting Creede and beyond. I would stay there again.

Fine for winter, terrible in summer
This cabin is clean and cute but incredibly hot in the summer. So hot that I would never recommend staying in this unit in the summer time. Winter: it'd probably be great! But man is it hot in the summer. Hot tub was completely out of commission despite them advertising it. That was a disappointment and was not communicated. As other reviews have noted, it is attached to their staff laundry facilities, which isn't too annoying except their staff parks their vehicles all around your unit. They are friendly, but people walk by the front door a lot. There is no shade on the property, or grass. *Pros:* the bed was comfortable. The area was surprisingly quiet. Everything was clean. The refrigerator did a great job cooling drinks. It would be really cozy in the winter. Across the street from this complex is the city building, and there is a nice (but small) park there with places to sit and nice grass. They did provide fans to help with the heat, but it's virtually unlivable during mid-day. Overall, I'd consider it in the winter but hard-pass during the summer. I hate to be so critical but it was incredibly hot inside in July.

Pleasant stay
The cabin was just as described and pictured, only reason it’s not 5 starts is that the grill wouldn’t stay lit, and the tv/dvd player did not seem to work. Perfect little studio with a small kitchen and bathroom.

First Trip to South Fork
This property all and all was a great turnout for my girlfriends and I. The cabin stays warm (as long as the fireplace stays on) and everything we needed to cook was included in the cabin. The cabin is a very easy/short drive to Wolf Creek ski area and surrounding towns like Del Norte which is where we were able to pick up groceries, etc. The cabin is very cosy and we were very happy with our decision to stay there! I would highly recommend this place!

Great!
The little cabin looks exactly like the pictures and it’s super cozy! The only bummer is the hot tub. The cover is a little busted up so it doesn’t hold in the heat very well. Also only had lukewarm water for showers. Other than that there’s beautiful scenery for drives and Wolf Creek is so close!
