Keys are a huge problem
The condo was fine, bed was super comfy, location was perfect. Vacasa was not, it was a huge hassle when it was time to checkout. We HAD to be out by 10 am otherwise it was an additional $100 for late checkout. We planned on skiing Sunday but Vacasa insisted we take the keys and the parking pass down the canyon over 1 mile away. So if we wanted to ski, we would have to turn around in heavy traffic and fi d paid parking at the resort. Vacasa said this was disclosed (which it was, AFTER we booked). All vacation rentals we have used in the past have never been this difficult. Felt like a hotel not a personal rental.

Ski Vacation
If you plan to ski on check in and check out day consider other options. Keys for the rental are not located on site and parking is not available until 4pm check in. Plan to arrive to ski area early to ensure you get a parking spot. A similar situation arises for 10 am checkout time. If you wait to checkout at 10 am, you may miss the opportunity to find public parking. This situation would be significantly improved if you could leave the keys in your room or on site at checkout. Currently, Vacasa requires dropping them off offsite despite requests for an alternative process. The building does not have space to store your gear upon early arrival or late departure so it’s unlikely you could ski on those days if relying on a transportation service to bring you up the canyon. The room is spacious. The kitchen is stocked with cooking tools. Bring your own dish detergent. The space is outdated but comfortable for a ski stay. The master bed at its end life. I messaged Vacasa directly and hope they replace the mattress for future guests. The shower door leaks a little but plenty of towels are provided. Overall, ski Solutide. It’s wonderful with great access to Brighton. If available, stay elsewhere.

Property Management Probably Stole My Identity
The property itself is great, was generally clean and fit the description. Vacasa, the property management company, however, was another story. Their required security questions to "confirm your identity" were the most invasive I've ever heard...and eerily similar to the ones used to recover passwords. There's nothing about this in the description, but if you don't use their process to confirm your identity you essentially lose your reservation and I'm not sure it would be refunded. Since there was no other options for lodging and I couldn't cancel, I had to go through their process. I took out extra identity theft protection after going through their process. By far the sketchiest booking process I've ever experienced.

misleading
the property was fine. not very well stocked with every day things would expect and always have found at other similar places.saying accommodates 4 people a little misleading as the pullout sofa was not viable for anyone to sleep on prior to providing additional memory foam to add to the orginal mattress.vacasa was very responsive to solving problems with mattress and linens. msut give them credit for timely responses,. think should be credited for one nites stay as did not get memory foam until second nite. tom isaacson

Convenient and equipped
Clean, convenient and as advertised. Comfortable bed and perfect size for two. Check in process a little inconvenient... Having to stop at the office in the canyon to pick and drop keys is not ideal. Other renters of condos in the Solitude Village have keys located in a lock box at the property... that’s a much better option.

Condo Location at Solitude Village is perfect!!!
The condo is situated perfectly to walk to the chair lift, to the couple of restaurants/bar in the Solitude Village. And easy walk to the gym/pool/hot tub place - Club Solitude. In the building, Powder Horn, where condo is located. They have lockers for your skis, washer/dryers available, hot tub, nice fireplace in the lobby foyer. Our condo was nice. All the basics we needed. Very comfortable. We had a super vacation.

Convenient and comfortable
This was a great place to stay during our first trip to Solitude. The condo was clean and comfortable. The location is very convent to the ski lockers, lobby, and hot tub. I worried that it might be loud when I saw the location but we had no problem with noise. Would definitely recommend

Peaceful stay
The condo is perfectly located and easy to find. It was very quiet even on the first floor. The decor is cozy and the bedroom spacious. There is even a small patio to sit out on with a small view of the mountain. The only suggestion I would make would be to include more details about the local area stores and restaurants, recycling, how to check out meaning how to leave the linens. It's a very basic unit however clean and easy to find.

nice place!
I really loved it. Super close to the lift. I liked being on the first floor too. If I had to put something in, I would say to redo the shower, but it worked well enough. Thank you for the hospitality. Solitude is a wonderful place.
