Mary’s boon is a true classic. Some unsightly properties in the area are not the fault of the owners. Beautiful beach and overall settings. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Dinner was excellent. Some rooms are being renovated. I hope it will be in the old style that brings up many warm memories of the Caribbean.

Quiet & Quaint Boutique Hotel
We got off to a rough start when we checked in and discovered that our room was not properly cleaned (floors had garbage from past guests and bathroom was not cleaned/dirty toilet) but spoke to reception and it was quickly remedied. From that point on, the stay was wonderful. All of the staff were very friendly and happy to assist in any way possible. The beach is beautiful and more than ample shady spots are provided to enjoy the amazing view without the sun beating down if you don't want to sunbathe. It is very close to the airport but it didn't bother us - we found planes were only taking off and landing between 8am and 4pm (give or take) and any noise "disruption" was very brief. If nightlife is your thing, it is a short walk to numerous restaurants and pubs (and little grocery stores) but it also provides a quiet, relaxing break with a restaurant overlooking the ocean - food was tasty, prices were comparable to other locations nearby (sometimes cheaper, especially during happy hour) and, for the most part, the service was fantastic. Overall, I'd definitely stay there again and do plan to return.

Room amenities were outdated and not maintained. Overall the place needs an upgrade. Checking in the evening or at night was by a security guard who didnt secure credit card information properly. Room was not ventilated properly. There were dogs walking through the restaurant.

Service was very kind and efficient. The grounds were nice, the pool and bar were fun, the beach is beautiful and clean. My room was a bit tired looking and needed a bit of updating, but the value for what I paid was not bad.

By far the strangest place I have ever stayed. Rooms looked more like a cheap lived in vrbo than an hotel accommodation. Caged animals on property. Doors had keyed deadbolt on both sides. In case of fire you better have your key or you are not getting out, nor could one individual exit and the other remain without either the door being left unlocked or the one leaving not having a way back in. Cracked tile countertops. A/C was off and room air was noticeably stagnant when we arrived. It was late so security had to check us in and spoke maybe 5 words and just about ran from place to place.

If your looking for a relaxing and small place to stay Mary’s is it. Really enjoyed our stay. it was amazing. Beach is accessible literally right off the resort.

Great customer service and food, no frills room.
The food was delicious at tge restaurant, but be ready to see big dogs abd cats everywhere. It's also right on the beach. The lady in the office was fantastic. The room and resort was not fit to my level of expectations, but someone okay with a no frills experience on a limited budget may find no issue.

Amazing stay
We had a really good visit. It was great to be right on the beach. Heat pump kept us cool to sleep. It was fun to watch the planes take off right outside but they also dont run at night so we could sleep.
