Experienced a bit of confusion a check in.
Called spoke to the front desk to ask because it was a prepaid room and needed to check if my son needed a credit card to checkin. He is active military and only has a debit card. I was told no which I thought was odd but it was a prepaid room and when I stayed in Sept I was not asked for a credit card. I was going to offer to send over a credit authorization with my card for any incidentals and was told I didn't need to. When he arrived he was asked for a credit card, which he was able to present. It was just confusing as two different answers were given. We have stayed here before and I do plan to use this property frequently as it is the half way point between our house and his base.

First Time in Savannah
I initially chose this hotel out of convenience. From the moment, one of my family members arrive at the hotel until the next morning when we left, we were extremely pleased with our entire stay. At the top of our list is your entire Hotel staff, they were all very friendly, polite, and accommodating. I have future plans to return to Savannah and know exactly which hotel I will choose for my stay. Our many thanks to your entire staff and we appreciate everything they had done for us to make our stay a very pleasant one.

When we arrived and got on the elevator the overwhelming smell of marijuana was coming from the lobby and even stronger in the elevator. Dealing with that issue we arrived at the room and was hit with another overwhelming chemical smell. The room was clean for the most part. When I went to the window to check the view the floor had a massive weak spot that made me think we were going to fall through the floor to the first level. All this with in ten minutes. The next day we left to be with family and returned and the keys wouldn’t work. This stay was one of the worst I’ve had in years.
