Friendly, helpful staff while checking in. They gave us a roll away bed at no charge. We were told housekeeping is every 3 days-they never did show up after 4. We had to go to front desk and wait for 15 minutes for someone to show up and get more coffee and towels.

I was charged a resort fee after arriving at 11:00 p.m. and left at 8:00 a.m. YOU SAID my payment to Expedia was PAID THEN, I was charged an additional $25.00 Please credit me that fee! Hotel said it was for parking and it is NOT a downtown hotel and frankly I live near the Lodge for 2 years and anyone could pull in and park there unnoticed. No requiring put a hotel sign on your windshield!

The location was easy to find and convenient to all points of interest in the surrounding areas. The rooms were very clean even though the facility was animal friendly. Next time I would like to take my dog since they are invited to stay. I missed the restaurant facility. It was closed for renovations but I suppose it would have been a great experience. Loved the whole area & hotel.

Upon checking in I was notified that only their bar was open and there was no food service as their restaurant was being renovated and there were no restaurants near by. Went to the assigned room to discover that the bedding and mattress were very soft and unacceptable. Unfortunately, I was looking for some food and a nice bed for some sleep that night. Not to much to ask. I went back to the counter and let them know the accommodation's were not acceptable and requested a refund. I was told I needed to call a 3rd party to get the refund since not directly booked. I called the 3rd party, Hotels.com, who did a good job in attempting to get a refund on my behalf. However the Lodge refused to provide a refund, decided to keep the $$ even though the accommodations were subpar and no service was provided, even after they told me I would be provided a refund. I'm not sure why they would choose to take such a stance and reverse on their commitment. There are many other reputable hotels in the area.

Have stayed here many times over the years and it's gotten progressively worse mainly due to maintenance items. 1. Exterior lighting was not on when dark especially parking area and steps. I was traveling with an older relative and it was dangerous for them to navigate. 2. Hot tub was mirky and jets did not work. (No operational knob to turn jets on). 3. TV in room was such poor quality that every station was 'fuzzy'. 4. Only one ice maker was operational in the entire hotel. 5. Padlocks on several pool access doors. 6. Had THE WORST margarita from the bar. Bar tender seemed annoyed to even make it. It was so sour it was undrinkable. In the past we enjoyed the bar a lot but guess it was a sign that we were the only guests in the bar on a Saturday night. Overall the hotel seemed rundown with too many maintenance items not being addressed or fixed.
