Rooms are a bit dated. The size is great but the room smelled moldy. Also only one elevator worked at the time so it took forever to get out of the hotel. Staff is super nice. Lobby is nice.

NEVER stay here again.
1. Both Smoke detectors were broken and hanging from the ceiling. Even after notifying the front desk, no repair or room change was done. 2. All rooms have no control over temperature. My kids were cold and the heater did not function. Only option was to turn off the vent. Hotel received numerous complaints but nothing was done. 3. No answer to any phone calls to front desk, house keeping, nothing. Had to walk downstairs to request blanket and pillows for my kids. Still wasn’t enough as the rooms were cold due to heater not working. What kind of crap hotel is this?

Would you stay here?
Room was run down furniture was in bad repair . Shower tub had paint chipping off! the grout around the tile was moldy! At breakfast there was a omelette bar coffee and juice, toast or bagel, but no fresh fruit, no potatoes, no bacon, no oatmeal. The female omelette cook… rude as hell! Terrible stay. We did Text the hotel about negative issues. No response. By posting here we can only hope no one else is treated to this low standard hotel. Motel 6 and McDonald’s would be better. Do yourself a favor, don’t waste your hard earned money and stay here!

The staff was kind and attentive but the facility was older, run down and not the cleanest. The ac ducts were filthy, the ac filters needed to be changed, there was mold by the patio doors, there was no ac in the gym room and everywhere you looked, including in the foyer and rooms had dust on it.

Friendly staff, but follow up to check if service issues had been resolved was never done. Breakfast was well staffed and omelet station made fantastic omelets. Maintenance issues (broken elevator, with two more breaking during stay, AC broken, but fixed after a couple days, sliding glass door opaque in spots - issue was between the dual paned glass, smoke detector started giving low battery alert beeps- fixed within a few hours), safety concerns (sliding glass door had been left ajar either by cleaning crew or prior occupants - this allowed a lot of street noise in and was not evident until opening curtains on the first morning of stay, in the evenings the cleaning carts were parked two abreast at the end of the hallway, leaving a very narrow passage to the emergency exit, once through those doors, a large laundry cart blocked a portion of the door to the stairway). Communication issue about a service the hotel advertised as having and I had called to confirm they had before I booked my room - airport shuttle. I was told they had an open position for a shuttle driver, but that staff were covering shuttle needs until the position was filled, and that the shuttle was available from 7 am to 10 pm.Shuttle service when I arrived in evening was quick, however, I was told when I asked about scheduling the shuttle a couple of days before my departure for a morning flight, that the shuttle didn’t start running until 2 pm. Staff indifferent to me needing to schedule/pay for Uber.

Unfortunately lots of things in poor repair including elevators and ice machines just basic stuff like that. TVs out dated 1 remote for 2 TVs in different rooms. Towels and basic soap, shampoo, lotion stocked very low. We were able to look past things being outdated and in poor repair. What is inexcusable is at 11pm children running down the hall stomping loudly with no parental supervision so much so I had to get out of bed and go outside my room and stare at the children for them to stop. But wait it gets worse. Young adults having a party on same floor so lots of in and out foot traffic I was young once so try to deal with things but then at 130am one of the party goes is in the hallway in front of our room on his hands and knees throwing up uncontrollably for 10 mins at least I text the number for guest service no response call down to the front desk no answer. Extremely disappointing we could not go back to sleep due to all the commotion and nonsense completely unacceptable

Traffic noise from the nearby freeway kept us awake at night. Moved to another room twice to finally get a quiet room. Staff was pleasant but seemed clueless as to which rooms were noisy. A fire alarm went off after 10pm to add insult to injury. Also, the hot tub was out of order. Breakfast was good as always, and the manager's reception was fun. The bartender on the second night of our stay was especially nice.

Nightmare hotel! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!!!
The elevators didn’t work. The AC didn’t work. Holes in the drywall around the hotel. Mould growing in the bathroom. Breakfast was disgusting. To top it off we booked the 930am airport shuttle. Front desk told us to be early as the shuttle left at 930, at 945 I inquired when we were leaving and was told they had no idea as the shuttle driver was in a meeting. So we ordered ourselves an Uber. This hotel needs new management and a lot of tlc.

It was cold you could not control your heat in your room . Had to clean our shower before we could use it. Took 2 days to get a tv. Breakfast there were no waffles. The elevator broke down every day I will not stay here again

Long waits and my keys didn’t work. Unexpected charges for parking. Floors not vacuumed well. Our heater wouldn’t turn on. No one answered the phone at front desk or housekeeping for extra blankets. For the cost of the stay, the staff might be more happy to accommodate.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Santa Ana Orange County Airport is a spacious hotel, though I preferred to avoid the higher floors due to the low guardrails, which felt unsafe. The parking facilities were adequate, but I found the $22 per night fee disappointing, as it's becoming a common charge in the area. Despite requesting a non-smoking room, there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke upon entering. While the room itself was in good condition, the surrounding area could benefit from some renovation.

After a terrible experience at another motel this place was a dream. The only issue we had was the breakfast person refused to give me three orders because I didn’t have 3 breakfast tickets. I was told by the front desk I did not need a ticket for my kids. Eventually after explaining she did give me the extra plate but it was an unpleasant interaction. And the third order was provided long after the first two orders. The rest of the staff were amazing. One employee even came to my room to give me a new room key and a blanket. Our room was cleaned even though we only stayed two nights. Staff was super helpful, professional and polite.
