A lovely oasis in the heart of SF
This was my second stay here, and it was nearly perfect. My daughter and I wanted a bit of fun before her flight back to college, but we were on a tight budget, so we opted for a small queen room to share. Once again, the bed and pillows were super comfortable, water pressure was great and sound proofing was excellent. Beyond great sleep, we were looking forward to the indoor pool and hot tub. I was nervous since it was closed the last time I visited. We almost had a problem again this time, but it was resolved, and we had a glorious time relaxing to the lovely music, lounging and chatting on the comfy pool beds, and sipping smoothies and mimosas delivered by room service. Still, I was very stressed at first when an employee asked us to vacate the pool so they could film a commercial for their hotel. I was shocked. We had just checked out of our room and had planned to enjoy the pool area until her flight that afternoon. While I am glad they rescheduled the shoot, it took them 30 minutes to let us know the issue had been resolved. I am glad we decided to sit in the hot tub and hope for the best while we waited! This hotel needs to understand that people book their stay expecting to use the pool, and it is their responsibility to alert guests to any planned closures before they book. That said, service was excellent otherwise, and I will be back. I do wish they would fill the hot tub up more and get stronger jets. Still, it’s a lovely oasis in the heart of SF.

The property was immaculate and beautiful. The desk staff and valet staff were friendly and helpful. However, there were a lot of homeless people around the property and the property was a good distance from most of the tourist attractions.

The property is in a great location, proximity to restaurants and entertainment is great. A little more attention to cleaning. Small areas of mold in the shower, found receipts from the previous occupant in the linens and didn’t pick up room service for the entire day. Guess I’m just a clean freak
