The hotel is in a Great location! Easy access to transit- very clean with many little extras, like fresh cookies at the reception desk, free daily coffee, a pillow menu in each room, nice linens and great service from all the staff in the hotel.

Small but Cozy
Very nice hotel. Cute (albeit tiny) room. We were supposed to have a queen bed but it seemed awfully small and a lot more like a full/double size. Liked the big closet though. Good shower. My only complaint is that you can't control the temperature in the room. Although it was winter, we were overly warm and wished we could have turned the heat down. At least the window was able to be cracked and they provided a fan, which helped. The step up into the bathroom also scared me. I was terrified one of us was going to trip and fall onto the tile floor; we are clumsy and my boyfriend was already nursing a sprained ankle. We were very careful and luckily did not trip and fall!

Great staff and charm. It is an older hotel, and has been well-kept and the old charm is still intact. B/W tile in the bathrooms and DEEP soaking tubs are a highlight. Love that the windows open to allow for air to circulate. Lots if nice little touches that will encourage you to come back.

A great place to stay in San Francisco
Everything was just as it appeared in the pictures for this property. We had a quiet room at the back of the building. The bed and pillows were great and we bothe slept very well. Also. the location and access to public transportation was excellent.

Location was excellent, right on Union Square and close to the public transit! Rooms are small but comfortable and modern! the bed is amazing and the view from my bedroom was just unique!
