This hotel is reasonably priced and within walking distance to the pier and several restaurants and shops. There was coffee in the lounge with creamers, but no creamers in the room. The room itself was clean, but the carpet had strange lumps. The walls are pretty thin, so we could hear the shower and toilet flushing next door in addition to hearing our upstairs neighbors walking across the floor.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The WiFi was not working so was not able to stream on the tv but they had cable so were still able to watch that. Location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. Overall a great experience.

It above a 3-star hotel and the hotel has a nice quality design. I reserved a King, Ocean view compact room that had everything I needed. I have been there several times & never leave disappointed.

Very disappointed and will not recommend this place. I reserved a Superior Suit, 1King Bed with Hot Tub Ocean View….there Not room service whatsoever Bring your own bottle of water….There will be Non in your room. For a $300 per night room.. please do yourself a favor and fine a more pleasant and convenient place. The Coffee Machine in the Lobby (it’s very old) it takes like 3-4 minutes to get a single cup of coffee.

Wonderful getaway in San Clemente
Really great location- balcony, view of sea. Great customer service, parking lot, microwave and fridge in room, spacious, clean- everything was wonderful.

This was our second time staying at Volare. The rooms are great & we love that they have keurigs. The tv sizes are great & the do accommodate pets. I think $50 per pet, per night is expensive but if you have a service animal they will not charge. If you do have pets though, it's not the easiest place to stay because you have to take the elevator & walk through the lobby to get outside. All of the staff & housekeeping were wonderful & I would stay here again but probably sans puppies.

Dead plants great you at the entry. 20 minutes to find someone to greet/check in at front desk. Fancy lobby furniture belies the cheap paint job at the opening to 2 nd floor elevator area and down the hall. Bizarre, tasteless carpeting was disarming. paid extra for ocean view room with viewed the noisy freeway. Dated furniture and 20 year old bed style completed the picture. 4 star Restaurant featured in website was non existent. Overall, feels like a property in bankruptcy sliding on the down and out. Room was not serviced during 2 day stay. Coffee cream requested delivered as face cream. Our last stay here.

The property is close to everything so we barely used our car. There’s a lot of parking spaces and the housekeeping cleaned our room thoroughly everyday. We loved our stay here.
