•This villa is a comfortable, upper unit, 1000 (approx) square-foot lofted condo located in a gated boating, golf & fitness minded community located along the shore of Lake Keowee in the SC foothills of the mountains. The lake can be accessed quickly as its only 5 minutes away within community. Keowee Key is a friendly gated community with walking trails & is rated in the top 10 of like communities across the nation. I want you to feel like you have your very own vacation home to return to year after year! It’s located approximately 10 miles from Clemson, Seneca & Walhalla. and the lovely quaint towns of Cashiers and Highlands, NC are approx 30 mins away. Greenville and Asheville are an hour drive. Atlanta is a 1.5-2 hour drive away. GSP airport is an hour drive. Lake Jocassee, Tablerock state park and numerous waterfalls are minutes away.
•The community has 2 outdoor saltwater pools, one is within view and a one minute walk from my condo. The two outdoor swimming pools CLOSED for the 2024 season! The outdoor pools are saltwater. The community fitness center has a large indoor heated pool for use as well. You can have access to all the fitness center has to offer. I can help with court reservations
•You’ll have contactless entry with a key lock box at the door.
•On entry through the front door on the main floor you'll find a bedroom, laundry, bath, kitchen and large open living area flooded with light from the rear wall of windows.
•Upstairs, consist of a large carpeted loft bedroom overlooking the living area and the most comfortable bed! If you lay in bed and look out the loft to the wall of windows you feel like you’re in a tree house with all the nature in view.
•Though the rear door is a large deck with a nice view of the wooded scenery and the south side community pool, which is located just walking distance from the condo. Just grab one of the beach towels provided and walk over!
•The pool is complete with a covered cabana, sun loungers, shade umbrellas, bathrooms, tables & chairs and free WiFi. Our building is the closest to this pool! There is a larger pool located in the north side of our community at the north marina you may use. It has a fantastic view of the lake and offers gradual entry.
The heated indoor pool at the fitness center is open year round for use. In the men’s & women’s locker rooms there is a hot tub as well.
•Beach towels ARE provided and are visibly located in a large basket. Pool noodles are located in downstairs bedroom corner for your use as well. Please do not hang towels on railings.
•Directly in front of our building, steps away, is the South Flagship walking trail, which is paved and spans from the south entrance of the community to the club entrance, approximately 2+ miles in length. Great for early morning or evening strolls. There is another walking trail called the Leisure trail, alongside the lake on the north side of our community. (No motorized vehicles are permitted on walking trails), Which your gate pass allows entry to as well. Just drive through the member side of gate with your pass. Everyone is so friendly, be sure to say hi or strike up a conversation!
•The interior of the unit is painted, and the entry-level floors are hardwood and tile.
•The unit is equipped with fans, smoke detectors (3) as well as a carbon monoxide detector & a fire extinguisher.
•The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pans, glassware, wine glasses, wine opener, cooking utensils, microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, toaster, & a Keurig coffee maker. Coffee pods and creamer is provided for your use.
•Outside the backdoor, you'll find a large deck with two high-top stools and 2 chairs for enjoying your morning coffee or for winding down in the evening.
•Each bedroom Is equipped with a comfortable queen-size bed. Sleeping a total of four adults Or a small family, comfortably!
•The unit comes equipped with 3 TVs with Roku and WiFi. One in living room and each bedroom.
•There is a stack washer/dryer unit for your use. Detergent and dryer sheets provided.
•The community has a casual bistro restaurant where you can enjoy a meal, sandwiches or pizza. They do not take cash however. Credit card only. Or If you prefer to cook at ‘home’, you’ll find a multitude of oils & spices to season and prepare your meals with. In Seneca, 10 miles away, you can find grocery stores, tho right outside of our east gate there is a gas station, convenience store, spirits & wine store and a Dollar General for supplies not supplied. And a Subway restaurant is located outside that maintenance rd gate. Down the road near the Dollar General is a Mexican food truck restaurant.
•Do you play pickle-ball, bocce ball or shuffleboard? I can help reserve a court. (4) Pickle-ball rackets are available for your use in my unit.
• At the north marina you’ll find the larger outdoor pool along with a boating store where paddle boards and kayaks can be rented. If you’re at the North pool, various ice cream bars can be purchased inside the boating office to enjoy. (Credit card) pick up a pizza at the bistro and bring it with you to the pool!
The beginning of the north side walking trail around the lake is there too. It’s a lovely paved lakeside stroll. The leisure trail allows bikes if you choose to bring. Its 2+ miles long. Bicycles permitted on leisure trail.
•At the community fitness center you can use the fitness machines, play racquet ball, or use the indoor pool and hot tubs. There ‘may’ be a small fee for guests.
•This condo building has a small four spot parking lot. ONE spot for each unit in the building. (Please only use one. Parking for your second vehicle is just a short walk across the side road, in the other lot.)
Note: There is an added administration fee of $46, it covers the electronic gate pass issued by the community and their administrative services. (NOTE: If you will be bringing in two vehicles I will have to add an additional $26 to your total for the additional electronic gate pass for that additional vehicle.
Driver's license info, address and vehicle info will be requested from renter on each vehicle for the gate pass/passes processing. THE PASS CAN BE SAVED & REPROGRAMMED FOR FUTURE VISITS - so you'll want to hold on to it. Don’t toss it out.
