The home was beautiful and decorated for Christmas perfectly. We had 10 family members in our party and we had plenty of room. We did have issues with the recliners in the sectional and the drain in the lower game room bathroom had a smell we had to control by covering it with a wet towel. The property manager had let us know about the smell when we checked in. They needed time to get a plumber in to check it out. The sectional needs to be replaced, the recliners are warm out. We did have a good time together despite the issues.

Ruidoso Getaway

This property is very nice for a family getaway. Spacious with a beautiful view! Nicely decorated for the holidays. Fully loaded kitchen and perfect for cooking family meals. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful home

This beautiful home was as advertised on the listing. It is located in a convenient and quiet hill top neighborhood close to town. Plenty of friendly deer, elk and turkey. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 adults and 2 children and it was well stocked. I brought kitchen items such as condiments, paper towels, trash bags, etc but none was needed. The pantry even had spices, waffle mix, flour, etc. The bar/party room with disco ball and lights was a nice touch even though we didn’t use it. The only negative was the remote controls for a few of the tv’s were missing and there were a few glitches with getting them to work in some of the rooms. Also, the pool tables were a bit worn and one was damaged (bumper kept falling off). Other than that, I highly recommend it. We had a lovely time!

My family and I had an amazing stay!

This cabin suited us all. The space was wonderful. We enjoyed most of the time in what we called the dance room. The little ones loved the lights and so did the adults 😉. The views are amazing. Overall we had an exceptional time. We most definitely will be visiting this cabin again.

Great home.

Had a group of 12 ranging in ages from 3 to 50. Everyone loved the extra amenities of the game room and the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals. The only thing missing was a drain stopper for the sink to do dishes, which we got at the nearby Walmart. The location is awesome. You are in a secluded neighborhood in the mountains. It is very quiet and the view is great. We used it as a base for our group to visit Roswell and White Sands National Park as Ruidoso is right in the middle of both. We had a group of deer visit us twice and a wild hen turkey wander through as well. Do pay attention to the warning of the need for chains or four wheel drive during the winter. Even though it was later in March, a storm dropped 4 inches of snow overnight while we were there (absolutely beautiful in the morning!). The roads are steep and winding to get to the house. Luckily it was only 4" and salt was all that was needed to clear the roads. Two of the vehicles in our group wouldn't have been able to leave the morning of our checkout had there been any more snow. There is exactly enough sleeping for 12 with the three bedrooms and the pullout queen sofa in the game room. Having three bathrooms with such a large group was definitely convenient. A word of warning: The plumbing in all the showers and the washing machine is backwards. The property manager warned us about the master bath shower but it turns out in all the showers and the washer, hot and cold are reversed. Be careful. The hot water is really hot! The listing says to contact the property manager by text which we did. We were arriving late and assumed the office to check in would be closed. She responded promptly and gave us instructions for getting into the house and about the master shower. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this home!

Very nice, it had everything we needed from towels to dishes. The heat didn’t work well in master bedroom so it was really cold. There was no wood for the fire places wish we would have known to bring our own ahead time. Otherwise everything was great. Will tent again, will make sure to carry our own firewood.

Dream cabin!

This cabin is a wonderful place, with a fantastic view of the city of Ruidoso and mountains. The location is fantastic, in a forrest on top of a mountain, surrounded by nature and wild animals...magnificent experience!! Great location!

Home was really nice but the hot tub was filthy dirty so we couldn’t use it which was a disappointment. The bathroom shower valve also has issues so we used the guest. Overall nice property

Amazing!

This property is so unique and very clean. We were there over the Christmas holidays and the house was decorated beautifully. We had a couple of VERY minor issues and Claudia was extremely responsive and resolved them quickly (even bringing us propane for the grill on Christmas Day). We stayed with 4 adults and 3 teens. The house is in a great location, took us less than 10 minutes to get to Sudderth Drive (shopping and food). We even had deer greeting us at the house after a long day out and eating right out of our hands! The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds are very comfortable. We took full advantage of the hot tub and the game room and took plenty of pictures...the view from the deck is amazing. We plan to book this property again.

Absolutely Amazing!!

We have stayed at several VRBO properties but this one hands down was the absolute best! Fully stocked kitchen although we could have used some better cooking ware, gorgeous views, very clean, such a fun game room and bar area, comfortable beds... I could go on and on! It was perfect!
