The second level greets you with a fully equipped kitchen and an open floor plan for the living and dining areas, bathed in natural light from large picture windows. Snuggle up by the wood-burning fireplace and enjoy a movie with surround sound. The front balcony is perfect for sipping your morning coffee in the sunshine. This level also features a bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Ascend to the third level to find two additional bedrooms: one with two queen beds and a gaming TV, ideal for kids who want to connect their gaming consoles, and another with a king-sized bed. The bathroom on this level includes a walk-in shower.

We had a great time here. Great condo, but older. Beautiful location. Shower heads were not working correctly. Not sure we were charged the correct amount. Emailed but host has not responded yet.

Keeping perspective
Keeping in mind that we were not renting a “new condo”, the following thoughts are pretty realistic i believe. My two boys did enjoy their own loft room and the game room. Although, the game room had a few things that were a disappointment. The net to the ping pong was broken, no ping ping balls., the actual table for ping pong was dirty and sticky. Maintenance did bring new net and balls. Broken lamp in living room made for darker lighting. Maintenance did replace the lamp. Fan motor click’s loudly at times in the front room and the light in the loft fan did not work. The TV was on the fritz completely. Another renter might have been more upset about the tv not working. All in all we had a lovely stay in Ruidoso and my perspective is still with gratitude but I have to say that for $700 and the concern I had about being sure to not be held responsible for damage, I wish the property had been a more prepared for guests. Bedrooms should be cleaned under beds and behind nightstands.
