Nice but not Great!

I've stayed here more than "several times" it was never great but they seemed to be always getting a bit better. The rooms painted, housekeeping attentive. The last two times - not so great. Last time no internet the whole time. You are forced to watch direct tv with no local options of networks CBS, NBC etc. I usually have Netflix etc. through the internet. Not that time. Biggest problem is that no one answers the phone at the front desk. It ALWAYS goes to voicemail. Leave a message, no one calls back. I did however reach them thru email this time, I needed towels and some other items they emailed they would let housekeeping know but five hours later I was still waiting so I drove to the front desk to get them. The woman at the desk was very polite. apologetic and helpful. I just wish everyone would try to go the extra mile. From front desk to housekeeping to maintenance. When I say I've been several times why not once a welcome back? Why are there some dishes but not full sets of anything? You can buy this stuff for next to nothing - I'm not sure having one dinner plate, no spoons and five odd size glasses (no coffee mugs) is the way to go. If we are supposed to furnish our own dishware put it on your website. I've noticed a huge price difference over the past years - it's almost double what it was and nothing has changed. Kudos to the people that always help me confirm my ground floor Suite.

Stay was awesome. However, we were woken up very early by cleaning staff beginning their daily room cleanings outside laughing and what not. But stay was nice.

Check in was quick, easy and professional. Room was very clean and spacious. Large property with a beautiful lake and large swimming pool. Close to restaurants. Wanted to stay longer! Looking forward to going back

I will never stay here again. The room smelled. I had to change rooms twice. I asked for the room to be cleaned several times and it never was. It was a horrible stay.

Great except for the Mildew

Our stay was great except that the room had a strong mildewy odor. Woke up with sinus congestion, headache, and itchy eyes and throat. May need to invest in dehumidifiers. They sell rechargeable ones that absorb humidity and then you plug them in the dry out the material. They cost about $15 at Aldi.

Nothing. I liked absolutely nothing about this place. It's dirty. It stinks. It has a weird smell that just stays there, and you have to breathe it throughout the night. This place should be shut down.

Good but a couple of issues.

This is a nice hotel for the price! Our room was clean and tidy. However, there are a few things that could be improved upon. First of all, the rooms with 2 beds are Double beds. Not Queen, although they are very spacious rooms which could easily accommodate Queen beds. Secondly, the traffic noise in the building beside the road is very loud!! We slept with a white noise app going on our phone, and the traffic was much louder. If you have trouble sleeping, ask for a room in the main building. Thirdly, we put out the do not disturb sign into the door slot and was still awakened by housekeeping opening our door. Thankfully we had the door latch in place so they could only open the door a bit. Then they slowly shut it back. I just thought I would let others know some of the issues we had.

The check-in process took so long and it seemed that the girl who checked me in didn’t know what she was doing. The room was located down a dirty hallway that had a bad smell. The same bad smell was in the room and the air conditioner was very noisy. We rented a hotel because we attended a concert down the street but once we got to the hotel we knew there was no way we would be staying there so we left.

Rooms were hot, AC could cool down the room. My friend and i reserve same kind of room, paid the same for each of our rooms. And ours was so outdated, just a dark room by pot smokers and gets was a huge room with kitchen big bathroom and porch area next to water.
