Life is Good 2 maybe the perfect vacation ticket. Located just five lots back from the soundfront, Life is Good 2 has ideal waterfront access for kayaking, windsurfing, and kitesurfing enthusiasts. The ground level has good concrete parking, a carport, an under house entry, an outside shower, and a fish-cleaning station. The first living level opens with the first bedroom which features a south-facing deck, a king-size bed, and a TV. The second bedroom has a pyramid bed and a twin with a TV. The third bedroom has two bunk beds and a TV. A full hallway bath and a laundry nook with a private washer and dryer are convenient to all bedrooms. The upstairs great room has tall cathedral ceilings, a full hall bath, and a well-furnished living area with a TV and DVD player, and deck access. The wide, furnished sundeck is anchored by an inviting hot tub. Life is Good 2 has partial views of the sound, ocean, and sunsets. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed and a TV. Hatteras vacations are always better at beautiful Life is Good 2.

Quiet peaceful location

The house is clean with a well equiped kitchen. We loved the views from the top floor and the walk to the beach took about 5 minutes. Rodanthe is a wonderful location with plenty of food but away from the more crowded area of OBX. Would definitely come back.

Great place!

Great place to get away. Hot tub is amazing, the views are beautiful and the property manager is responsive. Really great customer service, but they did have some issues getting me the code to check in so just be sure to double check and make sure you have it before you arrive. It's just a few minutes walk to the beach. Unfortunately you are not able to walk to a ton of other places because there isn't a side walk next to the main road or a board walk Not a huge deal, but something to plan for. We would love to stay here again.

Relaxing in Rodanthe

This vacay in laid back Rodanthe was superb. The weather cooperated and there was essentially no crowds to deal with. The property was very comfortable and the views, all around, were great! There is some isolation in Rodanthe, but the nearest grocery and other stores is a calm, serene 20 minute drive, along the shore. Plenty of local restaurants to enjoy! Good Winds and Neptune's were our fav's.

Life was good 2 us

Overall the house was great. Upon arrival we had cockroaches meet us. Throughout the week we also had smaller insects/bugs. The hot tub worked great. It was a life saver due to the chiller weather that came through. The house was the perfect size for a family of 6!

Nice views, needs a deep cleaning

Nice views from decks. Close to beach and sound, but the house really needs a deep cleaning. There were cob webs everywhere and alot of them had spiders. Drawer in kitchen is broken, and there looked to be alot of mold on all the ac vents.

Great vacation house

We had a great time at Life Is Good. It is conveniently located - just a short walk to the beach. And easy to load up the car, drive it down the street to the beach to unload and then back. Super helpful when dealing with small children, which we were. There were highchairs and pack 'n plays in the house for our use which was an unexpected surprise and came in very handy. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own area but a good layout so we could all hang out together comfortably too. The kids loved the balconies. Beautiful view from the balconies, of the sunsets especially! We look forward to coming back and would definitely rent it again. Only reason for 4 vs 5 starts was that, even with air conditioning on, the lower level was a bit warm and definitely a noticeable discrepancy between the upper and lower levels. Still comfortable once you've cooled off upstairs after an outing but would have been nice for it to be a bit cooler.

Great location and clean property

My family and I (total of 8 people) stayed here and enjoyed it. This property is maintained well, clean, and accommodating. Sound side is steps away and beach is a short walk. Wish there was one more bathroom, but it was fine- a good deal I'd say. One thing to note: the closest full grocery store (aka not just a little market) is 30 mins in both directions.

awesome place

We loved this place. Everything is in good shape and worked like its supposed to do. The beds are comfortable and the views are very nice. Quiet street with almost no traffic with a convenient location. We would definitely come back.
