Spacious house needs better cleaning and maintenance.
Had to buy air freshener and candles and ant spray for house. Basement garage had a smell of decay seeping into second floor and top floor. Ants in kitchen. Had to keep our food in living area. Obvious signs of critters in basement. Droppings and shredded insulation and paper. Deck railings were very loose as well as hand rail to house.

Beautiful Home and Great Location
The property is beautiful and a great location for crabbing. Plenty of parking and plenty of space for people to hang out. All the amenities from home. Had everything we needed. This is just a couple of ideas to help peoples experience. The home felt a little dirty. The downstairs bedrooms smelled really musty. Everyone had black feet after walking around the house leaving us with the impression it had been a long time since someone had cleaned the floors. The sheets were nice and clean but the blankets were pretty gross in every room. Would recommend not using white towels if not going to keep them white. They were brownish and yellowish. Also, the owner showed up on our last day for a few hours to process crab and fish and unload a trailer of wood, which we felt was very unorthodox and frankly a little rude and a violation of our privacy. We took pictures and video upon arrival to date and time stamp things like a cracked toilet seat and what sounds like a failing dishwasher along with a few other issues so they don't come up later as "damaged" items. Other than that we had a nice time and would like to possibly rent again next year.

Family beach trip
The house had plenty of room for everyone. There are lots of stairs. The kitchen is on the top floor with most of the rooms on the main floor, so you’ll be climbing stairs a lot! The house wasn’t stocked well for a 5 day trip. 1 extra garbage bag, not enough laundry and dish soap, etc. There is a great view of the jetty. Access is across the street but you have to navigate large sharp boulders (there is a boat launch in Garibaldi). Not a great property for kids, unless they’re watched closely. The house is feet off the railroad tracks and the historic train goes by about 6 times a day. The management company is very responsive, and check in and check out was very simple.

Beautiful House!
The house is beautiful and super clean. The kitchen is TO DIE FOR! 😃. We went with friends and family. There was plenty of room for all of us. The only downfall is there are a ton of stairs. If you’re disabled, this isn’t the house for you.

We throughly enjoyed our stay, the house had the comfort of home with amazing views. It was fun watching the crab boats bring in their catch and reset the lines. Short walk to the beach gave the grandkids such excitement.

Good for the price!
We loved the views from both floors, and it’s honestly bigger in person than the photos portray. The only thing that held us back from giving it a full five stars is that it’s not truly equipped for 14 people when it comes to trash space, hot water, and appliance performance. With a few updates (dishwasher, hot water heater, vacuum that works, unclogged drains) it would be a 5 star. Reasonably priced for what you get though. We enjoyed our stay!

11 people and 2 dogs all had a great stay.
This is a big place with of room for playing games, watching movies, talking, cooking or reading. There are 2 big decks for sunning and watching the water. The place is quiet. During the summer a small excursion train passes directly in front of the property 8 - 10 times a day. 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms. Not all of lour adults were in bed-sharing relationships, but there were plenty of couches to sleep on.

Beautiful views
The property has stunning views and even more space than it looks like in the reviews. There was more noise from the highway than we were expecting, and some of the kitchen odds and ends weren’t fully cleaned when we arrived, but there’s an ample array of plates/cutlery/etc and the location feels very remote even though you’re quite near Garibaldi and other houses. The access to Coastal sights was really convenient, and there was plenty of parking, although we thought we’d gotten lost at first since it took a minute to realize you need to cross back over the railroad tracks. The abandoned/boarded up structure next door freaked out my kid and dog, but again, the views and convenience were great. Plenty of beds, although wouldn’t recommend with a toddler without bringing a floor bed or bed rail, as they range from “a bit” to “comically” high. House would be tough for someone with mobility issues given all the stairs, but it does make for a very spread out and open space.

The view is gorgeous house is beautiful house cleaning didn't do that great of a job when we arrived all of their stuff in the dryer hadn't been folded and put away all of the dishes that we use had to be re-clean before we use them as they weren't clean very well but other than that it was a wonderful place and we would stay there again

Wonderful but
Had to change lightbulbs when we got there. Short on supplies forks, trash bags, and laundry soap. Fridge temp was warm upon arrival. Other than a few minor things, the house and area was terrific. Just a short walk to some sand and fish off the jetty. Loved the huge kitchen and the view was amazing. Well definitely return for another stay!

House was comfortable, clean, and as advertised. The view is amazing.
The only disappointments were related to the purpose of the trip which was to fly fish for abacore tuna. Unfortunately weather, power outages, fires, and issues with the charter conspired to keep us off the water. None of which reflects on the property. In fact it could not have been a better place to be "stuck" with two PhD marine biologists.

Loved it!
It was a great place for Family! Loved the view too. House had every utensil and pot and pans that you would need, so we really only needed to bring food! Big and spacious. I stayed the whole time on the top floor. Only 2 complains. Someone left the heat at full blast and was a sauna all night, even with windows open and the double bed (should be a Queen) on the bottom floor sounded like the metal beds of a century ago that squeaks with every move and very uncomfortable, so moved my folks into one of the kid rooms. I highly recommend this house though, it was great. I won't be back, too many stairs for my broken down knees, but it's a beautiful house, I would live there if there was an elevator ha ha

This is a worn out house
The location of this property is very interesting, just a few steps away from Tillamook Bay. The views are spectacular. Even though it is very close to HWY 101, the road noise is minimal. There is a lot of room for people, the kitchen is huge (actually too big, and there are two common areas with couches and chairs. Unfortunately, the beautiful view and spacious house just isn't enough to raise this above a 1 star because of the following: - the floors were absolutely filthy upon arrival. They were so bad that we had the rental company come and clean again, and once they were finished, there was still stains and debris all over the place. -the same windows that looked to Tillamook Bay were covered with cobwebs, dirt and grime. -The downstairs shower barely worked. We had to call maintenance to come and fix after two days of not working. It worked for one day and then just trickled water again. -The ice machine in the freezer was broken, so there was a counter top ice maker available to use. It was full of mold/mildew! -the pillows, sheets, and towels were all very worn out. Towels were stained, etc. Floor mat in bathroom had been chewed by a dog. As a vacation rental owner myself, I couldn't imagine renting my home if it looked like this place.
