A few things that could be improved
In general we enjoyed our stay but there were a few issues that keep it from getting five stars:
1) Lighting needs improvement. It's quite dim, especially in the living area, bathroom, and kitchen. There are under-cabinet lights in the kitchen but they seem to have a mind of their own and we couldn't find a way to have them stay on. The bathroom needs a light over the sink.
2) There is a noticeable musty smell, as is common with basement space; there are dehumidifiers running so this might improve with time.
3) The kitchen is well-equipped but some of the useful items you can see on the top shelf and there's no ladder, so unless you're very tall you won't be able to reach them.
4) There's only one bathroom and it's quite small; there's no counter space. The shower door opens out, so when you take a shower and then open the shower door the water from the door creates a puddle on the floor.
